Added something new to my future house plans ht…

Yup, big houses rock (luckily, this one is big-ish :D) :D I'd like something like a japanese traditional house, but made out of bricks, with steel/metal instead of wood (used for doors), and yeah, sliding doors all the way :D I'd also like a separate building as a workshop :D

But what about sunlight? It would be almost the same as being under the magnifying glass, wouldn't it? My knowledge on construction isn't all that good, so excuse me not knowing :D

@may - Hmm, but there's still the heat difference... @swede - Hmm, that's pretty big. This house has ~77m2, which isn't small, and you want double that :D I personally like floored houses (this one is 77m2 in base, and has 2 more floors above). Hmm, car lifts, or lifts in general are pretty hard to maintain (my father is in elevator business with the government)... Parts are also uber expensive (seen their price)...

Do you plan to live in a castle if a normal one is big enough for you :P Hmm, i don't think they'd work... Glass is a fragile thing... And i personally wouldn't want someone to watch me simmer inside :P

I also don't care if they're outdated, as long as it looks good. Hmm, shower would be nice, but i'd use slimmer ones for that (the ones i know are basically a cubic block of glass...

Do you have that many enemies? Marble in a bathroom is an instant death trap lying in wait...

Of course you would fill all the holes... I meant do they keep the heat in (or out)? Can it be stopped with a simple curtain, and so on...?

True. My neighbor at my grandmothers "town" did a small hole in a wall with them :) Too bad it doesn't look that good... -_- It could've been a lot better. How are they for heat insulation? He did it in his second house, which is basically a garage and a workshop.

If i ever won the lottery i'd buy this factory…

Hmmm, i rarely find that here... As far from what i've understood, actual gluten intolerance (in your case celiac disease) is very, very rare, and it's seen as fad... So, just look for food without: wheat (psenica/zito*), barley (jecam*), spelt (spelta*), rye (raz*)... (So i could remember it easier in Serbian :D) Just found out that i've been living in a lie for close to 8 years... Damn you translators!

Lol, a similar thing happened to a guy i know :D He got his mother to fix back of his hair (if this even makes sense), and she overdid it, so he had to shave his head to bald. Just do it. No mustache, no hair, no problem :P

And it's be good to know if i ever meet someone with gluten intolerance :) But how do i find food without barley, wheat, rye and/or spelt? Do i just carefully read the stuff it's made from?

    - Hmmm, here turkish coffee is very prevalent, especially with an older generation (I can drink it, but i'm not really, yet, fond of it). You can make dirt cheap turkish coffee with this (http://www.gorenje.rs/imagelib/products-magnified/4516726511bd05cd9f10ed8f5114e8a2_82658_fp.jpg), it's like 20$, and it's gluten free. And it's be good to know if i ever meet someone with gluten intolerance :) But how do i find food without barley, wheat, rye and/or spelt? Do...

Hmm, that would be only a hobby. As for management, i'd probably do it with my sister (she knows a lot more about them than me). Hmm, with that in mind, maybe you could even make a chain :D I just don't know how much is gluten free coffee? Is it expensive? A bonus question. Is Turkish coffee gluten free (for future reference)?

@Philosophy - But it can be quite risky for someone with no experience in it (investing). I know nill about investing (i'm not interested in it), so i'd never try it, but i know a fair bit about coffee shops. And, let's say you have 1% interest on 40m euros (per month). That's 400 000 euros a month. That's almost 90 years (current standard and average pay) of living with an average pay. Even if it was per year, that's still more than enough.

@trik - It's too messy, but you could protect the walls :D Offer it with lodging :D @philosophy - Depends on the amount. I'd surely open a coffee shop (been thinking about it for a long time), but everything i need, put that money in an account (don't want to risk it with investing) and use the coffee shop as my hobby and primary source of income :D

feel* Damn you laptop keyboard... The only thing worse than this is a touch screen keyboard! Try to type with 10 fingers, blindly, on it...

Hmm, if i'm not mistaken, countryside tourism is becoming more and more popular (don't know the exact term, so i'll go with "countryside tourism"), so there's that. There could also be guided tours... I know that a lot of city fold (me being one myself) are interested in countryside (i'm not, since i already know plenty about it :D) :D If this was a fantasy, you could lease it to an adventurer's guild :D It has that kind of fell :)

You could basically live in that tower alone, and turn the rest into a hotel/motel/dormitory (of course, it depends on where you live).
  20. That's why i switched to an SSD. I didn't even know that it was faster than an ordinary HDD, i just knew that it was shock "proof", and i needed that (laptop user here)
  21. If money wasn't an issue , i'd personally go with a custom case/chasis made out of a titanium alloy. I would also go full SSD storage, no HDD's, securing all bigger components (CPU cooler, GPU...). This can only make it stronger, not "proof"... Otherwise, just kick out that HDD and put an SSD (or SSD's).

Abandoned? And damn, it looks nice :D It would be great home... How much does it even cost?
  24. The problem isn't competing, the problem is that there's too much monopoly on our market... We only have one big potato chips manufacturer, with maybe 1 (or 2) smaller ones... You know, i'd like to get to choose something different every now and then...
