Aztec reacted to AndreiArgeanu in Using a 2013 MacBook Pro Retina display with a 2015 MacBook Pro Retina
I doubt to be honest that it will work. Even if you might be able to connect the screen the actual hardware may not be compatible with the macbook. It's a rather risky situation. I wouldn't recommend doing so, you're better off just getting the 2015 screen. But when I searched for the 2013 screens I've seen that they have similar pricing.

If you want to play around with speed, you can probably set the execution cap on the VM to mimic a slower machine.

The HDDs are already capable of maxing out the 1Gbps network. Adding an SSD wouldn't really help for anything other than transferring lots of small files.

You can always do a custom graphic for one of your favorite games or characters. For example my work in progress is my P400 Mass effect theme case. My wife just finished the front panel. Next is the side panels then the inside of the case.

Yeah the quickest and cheapest would be decals of some sort, look online you can probably find a service for creating a vinyl decal or even something pre-made that would suite your needs

Your pc looks simple and neat already. If you wanna add something personal, you could use a little personal logo you can design yourself and stick it to the bottom right of the front or the side tempered panel. Nothing too flashy or complicated.

Yes, but it's Apple so it's gonna be tough.

You can replace the thermal paste, but generally Apple products seem to be optimised for situations like this. It wouldn't hurt to try though.

Here's the immediate problems I see
main doesn't have an end curly brace, or it does and it's encapsulating everything, which in the context of the rest of the source, is not allowed because nested function definitions aren't allowed in C. Closing parenthesis at the statement *argv=[1], argv=[2]); Also this statement makes no sense. Functions counter and shuttle_sort don't have curly braces encapsulating the function There's also another function called shuttleSort... so which one are you using? Declaration of data[50], temp, key, and count are ambiguous in terms of scope. Are they global to the source, local to a function, what? Not checking to make sure argv is of correct size before proceeding (what if I call the program with no arguments?) I'm not going to re-write the source for you, but maybe someone who's more generous than me will.

Thanks and I've learned quite a few lessons when building this PC but that's just the joys of building a PC instead of just buying one!

Worst that happens is they say no. You've already got one case so it's not like they can say they won't send you any case. From my experience with Corsair, they're pretty good at just replacing things.

If you are worried about soldering you could get a PIR sensor on a board with pins and use F-F jumper wires to connect it to your PI

Somewhat happened to me.. it was the BUTTON that was broken on a very new case. So, first of all, try to plug RESET +- wires to POWER+- and use the reset button to "power it up". If it works, it's the power button, if it doesn't, it's something on your hardware.

Bring your system back to minimal parts. 1 stick of ram, no GPU if your processor has integrated graphics, etc.. do some testing and reply back with an update.

Hey - There are some WDDM features that aren't fully supported in Win7 (or at least not supported by every install) - one of them is the display duplication API which we require.

I plan to make my own iPhone. Someone has an adapter that connects to iPhone screens and allows you to control it through the GPIO headers. So I gutted a 4s and it has enough room for the pi, a battery, the adapter, and more stuff. It's pretty cool

In that price range I'd get a 970 or 470/570

When 570s are on sale stock clearance of 470s should put them level with the 1050Ti in price for a much better card

Depends on how much it costs.
RX 470/570 usually cost the same or just slightly more but it is quite a bit more powerful card.

But yes, 1050ti will be big upgrade from 560ti.
