  1. My go to amp/dac combo under $300 is easily the Aune X1S. It's better than the Schiit stack imo especially since the new Magni 3 is deemed to have glare at higher volumes. So i would stay away from it.
  2. This might be the wrong forum but I'm wondering weather the Onkyo a-9010 integrated amp has enough power to power the Bowers & Wilkins CM5 S2 Speakers to a reasonable volume. I am considering this combo against another combo and i am sure the other combo will work just fine but probably not sound as good, the only reason I'm hesitant about this combo is the power question. Both combos are in the same budget btw.
  3. Aah, i see. Do you possibly live in sweden? Since we can do it in English as well.
  4. The title is meant to be click bait I'll ask mo colleges and try and convince them that if do it in English finding commentators will be much easier. Do you at least live in sweden?
  5. Me and a few friends has started a streaming production company, although we don't make money of it yet, at least we break even. We are looking for people create good relations with so when can pay them a good sum, they are willing to come and work for us. Right now are looking for someone who wants to be an Overwatch commentator. No experience is needed since we will help you practice and become hopefully sometime in the future become a professional commentator. Here is the catch though, you have to live in Sweden and know Swedish since the commenting will be done in Swedish. So if there is someone interested out there, please direct message me. EDIT: It it possible to do it in English as well, however, the live in Sweden requirement still stands
  6. Thanks for the answer man and thank you for the info. I did do some searching and i found the JBL LSR305's which are in the same price range and for a minute there i was considering them but what you said made me change my mind back. Also, i know the price of the setup so you don't need to remind me of the hole it will create in my wallet.
  7. Hey guys. So this autumn I'm planning on upping my audio game. I already have a setup in mind but I'm not sure about my choice of desk speakers. I'm planning on buying a Schiit setup with the Modi 2 DAC and the Asgard 2 Amp to use with my pc. For headphones I'm gonna get a pair of HD600's and a pair of Audioengine A5+ for speakers. However, I'm not to sure about the Audioengine a5+. I have read allot good reviews and some neutral ones. I like a very flat reference sound so i can hear the song it was meant to be heard and I've heard the A5+'s colour the sound a bit and i was generally curious weather there was a better choice since I'm not that into audio. So do you guys know a better set of speakers within that budget?
  8. Hey ya'll I'm looking for a gaming monitor for gaming and photo editing that is an IPS or VA or PLS monitor due to the higher colour fidelity. Preferably under 250 dollars price range. I do some personal photo editing nothing too serious so the monitor has to be at least decent however it should be pretty good for gaming as well. There are two options i have been thinking about but please if you have better ones tell them by all means: Samsung 24'' S24C750P MVA LED or ASUS 23.8" VN248H IPS MHL
  9. I freacking love the build quality and screen. My friend just bought one and i could not look at my nexus 5 and be proud of it any more If i do get one, ill put cyanogenmod on it as soon as i can
  10. This was awesome, but it proves my poing. Going from an i5 to a i7 does not help performance. So overclocking the processor which makes things faster on the processor side should, in theory, not do much for performance if you are running say an i7 and 780 ti combination
  11. Yeah i misunderstood your comment, sorry Overclocking the Gpu gives you more performance when the gpu is the bottleneck, which it is in most cases. However, if it is not, which is the case in my current crappy build, overclocking it wont give you a performance boost, at all.
  12. Hey guys, so this thought just popped up in my head i need it answered. I have heard pretty much everywhere that CPU:s are not bottlenecks in systems and that its the gpu that most of the performance relys on. If that is truly the case then why do we get more gaming performance when we overclock our cpu and is there any reason to do so at all?
  13. uhm...what? Don't want to sound rude or anything but is that all you have to say? I have already made up my mind, im gonna use 3 party fans for optimal silence and performance and you are not gonna convince me otherwise. All i wanted to know was weather the silverstone AP-181 would fit with the h100i or weather i should buy a Noctua nf-a14 instead.
