  1. My friend upgraded from a pirated Windows 7 to Windows 10 and he kept all of his files and applications (I don't advocate piracy, I'm stating facts)
  2. Just a question, could you deactive the key then use that key on another computer?
  3. So was Ubisoft yet they le dun goofed with AC: Unity & FC4 (AC being a TERRIBLE game, FC not being very well optimised).
  4. 7.1 surround isn't worth purchasing a dedicated, over priced headphone, usb pair for. There is a Razer programe (http://www.razerzone.com/gb-en/surround) which simulates it and does a great job. I use it when playing CS:GO and it works a charm. I can hear people from 10 meters away, through walls and can pin point where exactly they are. As for the pair of headset, I recommend buying a good pair of headphones and then purchasing separately a mic. I am using http://thestatusaudio.com/. They are called the Status Pros and they are phenomenal. I can confirm that these are a lot better compared to Beats because the bass isn't amped up making everything else sound like shit. I bought these a few months back and they are still going strong although I feel as if the headband material is a bit cheap, the padding seems to be some sort of silicon but other than that they are great in general and get the job done when it comes to gaming. I'm going to purchase a dedicated mic but at the moment I'm using a half broken pair of Razer Kraken 7.1's mic as a 'Desk mic'. This is due to my old microphone breaking completly and I had the Krakens laying around but it had a broken usb end so I soldered on a new one and works but there is a drastic audio diffrence than before but the mic seems to be fine. Decent dedicated microphones (These has decent reviews and are decently priced): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Microphones-Snowball-iCE-Microphone/dp/B006DIA77E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1421502406&sr=8-2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-ZM-MIC1-ZMMIC1-Lapel-Microphone/dp/B00029MTMQ/ref=sr_1_21?ie=UTF8&qid=1421502466&sr=8-21
  5. 'Only' PSA: Don't pre purchase any games this year, we need to show devs that if they make a game and it is good we as the pc community will reward them by paying for them AFTER they've released it instead of them allowing preorders and them getting lazy and not bothering to do a good job as they might have if the money reward was still out there. As Mkfish said, it's £40, I remember when I could buy new released triple A titles on the Xbox 360 for £25-30 and this wasn't even that long ago, maybe in like 2010. It probably evens out but it is now that I release how god damn expensive they are. I'm not going to even contemplate buying this game is on sale and if it's actually a good port.
  6. Windows 10 is a nice mix of usability and clean-ness. It takes good aspects from Windows 7, 8 and OSX. TBH Windows will be the best OS for gamers until devs make their stuff run on Linux (That is the point of which everyone migrates from Windows to Linux) and I feel as if they could be the case. Linux is free and mod-able, two things gamers would love. Windows is nice and all but it costs money, it's not open source but the majority of applications in general and games run on it. Windows 10 looks great and personally I will purchasing it for my new rig (Going to build it in Summer fingers crossed). Will it be the best OS of gamers? Well, the CEO of Xbox who is still under Microsoft's roof is most likely biased and they say this all the time BUT that's not to say I disagree. It seems Microsoft has been on a track record of messing up, listen to the people who actually buy their products then fix it (Albeit in the case of Xbone it's taken way too long).
  7. I found this website and they gave amazing prices in the UK! However, this begs the question if it's actually legitimate. So if anyone has ordered from them I'd like some clarification and your general experience with them.
  8. I love the H440 and I'm going to buy the red one and I love Razer so I'd say go for the H440 Razer edition. I've seen a overview of the InWin and there were a few flaws in regards to sacrifices for design for elaboration.

  10. You guys are really generous and regardless if I win I'd like to thank you for your generosity. I'm thinking of building a YOLO PC with top of the line specs and looks and was looking at this PC. I was also considering making it a Hackintosh but I'm not sure if that's a possibility yet.
  11. To say gamers specifically is unfair. In every competitive scenario people will want to make excuses, it's human nature to refuse to admit defeat.
