iPhone 7 Plus, screw Android 

I have a S8 and there isn't too much bloatware that it comes installed with. And you can uninstall almost all of it if you want, but at the end it's up to you which phone you want. I recommend the S8, it's a great phone and hasn't slowed down for me at all so far. I would also wait for Pixel 2, Note 8, and V30 in a couple months.

It would really help to know what you can spend.

apple not using USB C because they have to pay the creators, and not including headphone jack to save money isn't reasonable. Yes, they sold a lot but I'm sure most people would want the headphone jack.

Why the hell would i buy from a third party? samsung and LG (Top android based phone manufacturers in the u.s.)
Absolutely can't wait for this right to repair law to hit texas, Although apple will probably do the same thing they do with touch ID anyway. Anti-consumerism.

Not as steep as apple, clearly you've never looked at spec sheets. Why would i sacrifice raw performance for optimization? I prefer to futureproof.

I'm not talking about the app store i'm talking about making apps on a desktop and directly importing them via usb. i also like having more languages than swift (the best they can do). not natively supporting linux or python is a deal breaker) also why should i need to use a 3rd party? AND! when i do import an app it's much more user friendly to just open a file explorer and launch the .APK
 
1) Once again this comes down to raw performance over optimization. if you ever look at benchmarks of ios devices running different firmwares it's obvious they intentionally slow devices down manually 2)Have you ever picked up an iphone 4s or ipad 2 running ios 9.2.3? you'll quickly realize they're basically unusable compared to ios 7 or 8. 3) running different operating systems or programs sure, but if something is gimped by an oem software update you've got a problem.
 
No, people are buying ios devices from outdated terms like "They just work" and won't look at any other products on the market. If you haven't noticed apple sales are actually decreasing.

That's just another unnecessary thing to buy, Why would i spend $649 if i know i'm not getting the complete package? and why would i buy something just to spend more money? An unnecessary compromise.
 
1) It's a setting i'm in every day with my s4 (older battery, that's the same on every phone. 
2) Every day i just sit by a wall at lunch and watch videos on youtube till i have to get back to class (I'm great at parties... nope)
 
You just said you can pick up adapters for $10, "Yeah you can use this feature you've been using for years but this time it'll cost you $10
I know the phone ships with one, but with how easy it is to loose i'd rather not take my chances. 
Bluetooth? really? i'd rather just stick with my Senheiser CX3.0 's i've been using for the past year. (I actually do recommend them)

How do you know that? And why doesn't he care about anything else, like durability, and how slippery it will be in the hands. Sure the S8 and G6 are slippery phones but at least they have metal sides to hold on to. Full glass phone would be very slippery. Also, every single iPhone 8 design rumor points towards vertical back cameras. How is that good design? I think everyone  ( >90%) can agree that vertical back cameras will be ugly.

Yes, it's called being innovative. Samsung has to change the internals to achieve those tiny top and bottom bezels.

If you've ever watched a Galaxy S8 teardown, you can see that the iris scanner takes up minimal space.
Apple can fit it in there with a little bit of design change.

No, but can't they come up with a better solution than flipping rear cameras 90 degrees? And having the rear cameras rotated has one of the cameras still taking up space in the top of the phone. 

Samsung s7 is in sale now. my mom got it and the batterie lasts a day and something rather than 1/4 with the last phone (cubot x6) also camera is crystal clear.
get it with this sd card Toshiba Exceria M302 128GB Micro SD Memory Card 90 MB/s 4K (it needs to be fast in order to make it sytem storage and not bottleneck the system)
and if you do that expand thing that makes it also sytem storage you will have a total of 160gb

I'd actually be reluctant, if just because the HTC 10 is such a rare and special beast that I'd want to use it for as long as it's still viable!  Wait until your phone is starting to hit its limits (or there's just a more significant upgrade) before you think about switching.
 

One Plus 4 5 when it releases would be a better around  a bit higher than 450 (Assuming they don't do much wrong).
Edit: Consider picking up a flagship phone on ebay (Phones get replace often, so expect low prices for iPhone 6 etc.)

the odd number Samsungs usually are the better ones, the S6 lost a bunch of stuff the S5 had, most of which got restored and improved on the S7.
 
as for speed, until we see benchmarks who knows. they could have focused on features simply because ALL MODERN PHONES are fast enough that speed isn't the main sell.

With Nougat, S6 gets more screen on time. Up to an hour. I've checked on my phone, I couldn't believe it. I think this is the reason they didn't include a bigger battery. That and the fact that they got the Note fiasco and didn't want to risk anything with bigger batteries.

s7 doesn't have problems (as far as i know) and by the way apple has problems too just google it and you will find lots of things like the explosive batteries of the s6 the bricked phones that had problems with the fingerprint and much more

UHD is utterly pointless on anything smaller than 10 inches. go for 1440p if available, double battery life and imperceptible change in picture quality.

Most phones have at least one report of this.

I think that investing in Windows Phones is a lost cause, as even MS is about to shut down the Lumia program...
Get a 6P, 1+3, S7 or something instead.

Anyway doesn't change my opinion the colors should be called Very Similar and Quite Boring.
And maybe Really Expensive to finish it off but oh well.
