So I got around to do your suggestion of removing the top fan and it dropped 4C. I also tested it with and without the top cover. Top cover Off, same as before, Top cover On, same temp as removed fan. So I removed the fan and added the top.
    Thanks

He doesn't really get on top of running case, this one is more under a desk. I have a Meshify C with no top filter, it's very clean, so I'm not worried about it. If it does become a problem though I have some Demci filters that I can probably use.

CHEOPS     "The Pyramid of Cheops is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of Giza and is therefore also known as the "Great Pyramid".
The tallest pyramid in the world was erected as a tomb for the Egyptian King Cheops, who ruled during the 4th Dynasty in the Old Kingdom (about 2620-2580 BC) .... "   A theme can not be more beautiful, as the title image already reveals you can guess what I'm referring to it
Welcome to my next project"Cheops"   ...is to become a true-to-scale replica of the Cheops pyramid.
In this concept, I will work with gilding and lime sandstone techniques.
Upwards, the whole thing will then slowly pass into transparent glass, to gain a direct insight into the burial chamber,
Which of course is disguised with hardware.
Likewise I would like to see later a sarcophagus in the burial chamber which presumably enthrones the Hardware.   Mostly Styrodur and Plexiglas are used here.
I will gild with 24K gold leaf.
For the lime sandstone technique I will work with quartz-containing paint and glazes.     Since I have been carrying this idea with me since 2015, a lot has changed in the overall concept, but I do not want to go into the details.
I definitely want to show you my progress as soon as possible,
since in 2015 I already started working with some of them and now I got really into the project just before Christmas.     My goal would be to finish in under 25 years
and I think I had to wait in this project until the release of the golden GSkill Trident Z Royal     Currently I'm still looking at what hardware is eligible but I keep you up to date.

He was mainly gaming, eventually he started to record his gameplay, then lastly he got an Elgato card. If you mean why did he "upgrade" from FX-8350 to FX-8370? I just don't know. I told him it was the same CPU but overclocked a few and he wanted it anyways.  He wanted something new when it comes to the GPU stuff.
lol I didn't have to play on it I build for a friend and he didn't seem to have any issues, I wanted to start him off on a FX-6100 but budget didn't allow at that time.

More storage! I want to get 2x6TB or 8TB drives to add Waiting on new Noctua Fan hub Waiting on new Noctua D15 Black CPU Cooler Would like to get different RAM and will need to with the D15
MORE PICTURES *I did remove the bluray drive to make external since I don't need it that often and put the fan controller on top. I also added a 140mm Noctua fan on the bottom to add more air, even though it was just fine before.

I wish that I remembered to take more pictures of the building but I guess I was distracted and in a hurry to get it done for whatever reason, and just completely forgo

They are an incredible amount of work. They take about 2-3 weeks worth of man-hours to produce (the water cooled one was closer to 4), so they're very expensive. Not many manufacturers can afford the sponsorship that pays for us to make them, especially because part of the terms from our side is that aside from including one of their components they don't get any say in the process...

They don't even get to pick which of their components we use unless we agree on it...  This ensure that we end up with GOOD, unbiased build guides, which improves the value of them for the viewers now and in the future, but not all companies are that... open minded. We aren't willing to be flexible about this, however, so only Intel and AMD have engaged with us on these so far.

Next year you might see a new sponsor though... It'll be someone very unexpected

Since I'm going to answer the OP regarding the question he had.  Yes, you can swap out the 6300 in favor for the 8350 with no problem.  However, I cannot recommend it, unless you "need" the extra two cores, You've got some decent cooling going on so try out overclocking it since at 4.6ghz the FX 6300 plays pretty well.  I had a FX 6300 paired up with my R9 295x2, yeah it wasn't like running an i7, but it did perform rather well.

Intel cpu's will be outperforming it in single threaded applications, but not really enough to justify the expense of a platform change.  I'm just recommending the most cost effective solution for you.  anything else just let me know.
