  1. When I initially saw this I thought YAY, as it looked like it might have promise as an editors or other speciality keyboard. The ability to reach up and stab a few keys at the top programmed to need. Then it just went downhill with the details. The layout for typing alone would be horrible. There are reasons Qwerty in its total design does so well.

  3. How do you stop yourself from buying unnecessary things? Declare bankruptcy. Cant spend anything then.
  4. What I took from this: Intel = show pony AMD = workhorse ROI winner = AMD
  5. Watched it, but before I did I guessed, and turned out to be 100% RIGHT, about the Apple Fanboy response. They are an especially dim bunch of people. They really are.
  6. Cute yet cringeworthy with the failed fistbump. I do think the build for photo editing was a tad underkill though. Especially for lightroom. Could have sacrificed a bit more on the GPU side to get more cores on the CPU. But other than that, looks like a great first build!
  7. This, age tempers you also that its better to have the friend, than be desperate to have the lover. Dont force feelings on, if she doesn't like it step back and give her space. Its possible in 6 months or a years time you wont still feel the same. By the time you leave school you might not even speak with them again (I can count on one hand the number I have kept in touch with 10 years on). Sometimes things like being friends does develop, sometimes not, and the odd contradiction to make you feel even more hopeless, is if you dont ask you might never know. I have had friends, turn round and say to me if I only asked them out they would have said yes,,,,, years later (at a time I was certain there was a click there, but refrained because of the friendship). Generally mate, life is difficult, the problems you face at the time are always the worst. And when it comes to people and individual perceptions of the world? is always a cause of conflict, however innocent. There is no guide book to life, just some over generalised rules people preach. Take everything as an experience, grieve, move on.
  8. That is exactly what I thought! Couldnt find such a bulk deal available in the UK, but if he paid 90$ for $10 worth of anti-seize? Boy have you been shafted. And I dont mean a gentle rogering I am talking rough end of a rough sawn barge pole, splinters and all being shot up there with an air cannon.
  9. OK, wondered all the while what they were on about with the rocks, but it works! In a way that makes me want to do some generally light art around the garden with them. You've started something Luke, and not just the trend for wild hair and a messy beard.
  10. Yeah,,,,, thinking back I have done some chequered things in my time too. As to a little blue box? it sticks out a mile! whats to actually stop someone just throwing it out the window kidnapping a child? And if your kid wanders off WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING AS A PARENT? Its not that hard to keep an eye on them. My own is taught she can wander, but must be in my line of sight at all times and she's had a decent understanding of that since the age of 3. I can wonder in any shop, park or otherwise and see her from the corner of my eye at all times. Get a group of parents who know each other we keep an eye on each others kids too. By the time she is 11 she will be given a greater freedom and taught well in advance about her own personal safety. Christ I used to ride my bike 5 miles to high school every day (yes, been hit by cars on that commute), and we had some really sketchy high crime areas. I used to get up early with my mates, ride our bikes 50 miles to the sea side and 50 miles back. And that was arguably safer,,, why? older, wiser, more alert, and in a group. Mobiles were bricks, reception was crap, we gave our parents a quick call when we could.
  11. 13 minutes dedicated to Linus' balls. Of a 1 hour show. Just think about that folks :-p And audio sounds kinda muffled to me,,,, might be because I have been listening to Rammstein all day. But no pops, whistles, etc so consistent if nothing else.
  12. There is always a failing on these test videos, that being that they are always done in well lit city/town areas. If you live rural, there's things like being dazzled by high beams, tight roads (and drivers that still think they can do 100), dirt, wild life, and very little of it visible and few, if any cameras able to cope with the aggressive difference in exposures. Seen no cameras able to make any gain in dark areas, even with light pollution. Few are any good at seeing the full spread of the headlamps, none able to filter glare from oncoming headlamps and still see some of what your own beams actually cover.

    Beards?

Had a beard, in various guises for years, though never sported the OneManFu 6 foot long one with hair gelled moustache. Theres the mention of face shape, but also your own follicles. Some people grow hairs a millimeter apart and can look like they are sporting a thick beard with stubble, others need a bit more length to fill it out (me). Then there is colour, I am a brunette and have white (thanks dad), blond and ginger flecks natively in mine. Oh and a beard trimmer? cuts the thing too short, no way are you sporting the James McAvoy one with those,,, a hair trimmer gives you the adapters for a darn sight more length (or shorter should you wish) and its the same ruddy instrument.
  14. Already done the total uninstall and reinstall. Looks like a rollback being the only option.
