  1. I'm just getting into the high end audio world.... I need some advice. I play most of my audio through my pc, which has this motherboard with built in audio - https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-IX-CODE/ On my pc I usually wear this to game and talk to people with (Also listen to music with it.) - https://www.amazon.ca/HyperX-Cloud-Gaming-Headset-PS4/dp/B00SAYCVTQ When I'm not playing games or talking to people I usually switch my headset and listen to my music with these - https://www.amazon.com/Beats-Pro-Over-Ear-Wired-Headphone/dp/B008CQWPHU?th=1 I'm getting a new set of headphones and I really want the best audio I can get from them. These are the headphones I want to purchase - https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00DCXWXEI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2HUORJGDC60X4&coliid=I23AZEFEIV10FA This the DAC/AMP I was thinking of purchasing (For the price on its current sale it seems good, as at full price Youtube reviews say its amazing) - http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX54668 So Will I be happy with my new DAC and headphones? are they completely compatible? I just want to plug the dac into my pc and my headphones into the dac and have a good audio experience. I know this dac has a lot of extra features, but is it good enough? I just want barebones features. Just want to power my headphones and have crystal clear sound! Sorry for such a long and complicated post. Any help is very appreciated! <333
  2. So restarted, everything seems fine, plugged in phone everything is fine. It just seems to occur randomly.
  3. So My File Explorer is glitching out and making these strange black boxes and weird lines, its not affecting performance just the look of it and how I'm able to navigate through it. I am using some custom ico's as you can see. But this just started happening and I have been using these for weeks. Also If I restart the pc it seems to go away. I think the glitches get triggered when I connect my iPhone to my pc through usb. Any tips on what to do to stop this is much appreciated! <3
  4. Just restarted right now. Nothing has changed.
  5. I can re-install if that will 100% work, I don't really wanna loose my files or windows setting though.
  6. I have the key on the paper right here right now.
  7. I bought a real product key for windows 10 home and I have had it on my pc fully installed activated and working fine. I decided for some reason to enter a windows 10 pro key from some website thinking maybe it would give me a free upgrade. Now I'm stuck with this. I just want my normal Win 10 Home with activation.
  8. Well if part picker saying close to 400 watts for the build there. if I add 2 7200rpm drives based on what you said "I might add 100W for 3 7200 RPM HDDs" So + maybe 66 watts + all peripherals probably total draw would be max 500? (I have my gpu slightly OC'd currently, and would be slightly OCing the 7700K as well) So maybe closer to 550? 600 Watts? But to get a 650W P2 Would Hurt Right? It's more expensive than what you recommend but its not a bad psu in any way correct?
  9. This is my build - https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/vT34VY I would probably be adding 2 internal 7200 RPM HDD's, and I have 1 5400 RPM External Drive that I would be plugging in a lot. Also is the Platinum Rating much better than gold? I just want the best PSU I can get without spending over $200.
  10. I'm building a new pc, 7700K, 1060. on part picker the build is right around 400 watts. The PSU I have been looking at for a while is - https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/jBZ2FT/evga-power-supply-220p20750x1 I've heard great things about the EVGA P2, is what people say true? is it really good? Also do you think I should go with the 650W instead? I might be connecting a lot of HDD's and I don't want any power issues. Thanks for you help!
  11. Okay! Thank you for your help!
  12. My PC is like 100% gaming, web browsing, small tasks. no editing or anything crazy. I have 16 gb currently, when I have everything I normally have open and games I often play my ram usage is up to 13gb sometimes. That's why I was thinking maybe 32gb would be better.
  13. Do you think 32GB is good a good idea if I'm not planning to upgrade for a long time? Also for games if I had 32gb @2133 mhz or 32gb @3000 mhz would I notice any difference?
