What are you not impressed about? Are you looking for closed ear headphones? 558's are better or on par with m50's yet much more comfortable.

    I'm loving my HD 558s.

I was looking for open but I also don't want to drop $200 on a sound card which I would have to with Sennheisers. I also had the option to get a Phoebus for $100 but apparently it's not worth it.

Why would you need to drop $200 on a sound card for those headphones but not the other ones, And both of those you mentioned where closed ear headphones.

I know they're both closed. About the sound card, I would fell bad if I didn't pair the Sennheisers with a good sound card. The other 2 I wouldn't care as much.

But the custom one pros are higher end headphones in a price sense. If you thought about it you would have to get a sound card for all of them. Not that you need a sound card to drive any of those headphones. They are more than fine without.

And if you are really worried about it just get one of these http://www.amazon.com/Fiio-E10-USB-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B005VO7LG6 It's $75 and it works great. Most if not all would recommend that.
