  1. At the end of the day, no one is going to be playing AOTS, and as is the case in the past, buy the card that performs best in the games that you will be playing. Edit: Oh and don't buy two of the same cards cause you're an idiot if you do.
  2. Not to offend you, but you're paying too much for your Moto E, if it's even a Moto E, and too much on your plan. The Moto E is regularly on sale for $30 at BestBuy and unless T-Mobile has poor reception in your area, they have a 5gb LTE plan with unlimited 2g and 100 minutes and unlimited texting for $30. However, I don't think T-Mobile has the Moto E.
  3. Please for the love of smooth, enjoyable gaming, stop considering SLI/Crossfire. You will run into issues, you will run into instances where you get no performance gains, and you will be left with cards that don't retain their value all that well. AMD's x80 cards have always been great value for their price, but were almost never recommended that you get two of them because performance is just too unpredictable and it's much better to spring for a faster single gpu card that you can afford now and possibly sli or crossfire it in the future or sell it and get the next big thing.
  4. Well, AMD reports 62.5 fps average at 1080 maxed settings. I consider 60fps minimum as playable with anything above that as better.
  5. It takes 2 480s to get somewhat playable framerates so I wouldn't call that destroy.
  6. The one I linked isn't new; it's a refurb. I find that it's much better to spend just a little more on a refurb with an actual warranty, particularly if it's from a reputable manufacturer with solid customer service.
  7. It looked like the 480s were running were lower texture settings and less units on screen. The 1080 is on the right. Edit: The image was taken from Anandtech's live blog

    I'm not quite sure.
  9. Those temps are fine.
  10. Before changing your cpu, did you update your bios to the latest version?
  11. You probably won't be able to run it at the 8320E voltages because the 8320E is a higher binned part. Anyways, the 8320E runs at 1.2V at 3.5ghz and the 8350 runs at 4ghz so you will have to drop both the clock speed and the voltage and then test for stability. http://www.anandtech.com/show/8864/amd-fx-8320e-cpu-review-the-other-95w-vishera

It's normal if the hibernate option is enabled, but since it's not, it's a little strange.
  13. Ever since yesterday, my youtube subscription page's list view stopped working. I was watching a video and clicked to go back to the subscriptions page to see if there were any new videos. I see that it switched to grid view (which does happen from time to time) so I clicked on the list view button, but it does nothing. Is Google forcing me to use the horrible grid view? Edit: This happens across all of my computers so it isn't isolated to one computer.

Hmm. When it goes through the post and stuff like a regular startup, are all your windows and stuff still open?

  16. GTX 960. It comes with a 1 year warranty for peace of mind. http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-2966-RX

Yes, most likely it went to hibernate.
  18. Whoops, I saw 1080 in the post and completely forgot we were talking about the 1070. Anyways, my point still stands- Go for the most powerful single gpu card that you can afford.
  19. He claims that ZTE isn't made by Chinese spies because Huawei has this stigma that because it's made and owned by a Chinese company, they're spying on you, but ZTE is based in China as well. It's most likely nothing to worry about, but it's much different than having parts sourced from many different companies and assembled in China.
  20. 1080 because 2 480s offers you no upgrade path. Edit: On top of that, there's always a whole slew of problems using multiple graphics cards.
  21. How did you factory reset it? Did you use an image you found online?
  22. No no nono ononon nonono no. Buy the card that is slightly more expensive that you can afford when it's on sale (i.e. you're willing to spend $250 on a 380x, but you aim for a 970 or 390 that is priced at $280, but it goes on sale at $250 so you buy that instead) and once you need more performance, buy another of it or sell it and buy a faster card. Don't buy multiple low end cards.
  23. Well, to me, it's more along the lines of minimum requirements for games; when you meet the minimum requirements, you can run it, however suboptimal that would be. Same would go for the 480 and VR.
  24. I noticed that AMD cheated with their comparison. I noticed that the 1080 was running much higher detail and units compared to the 480 which was confirmed by LegitReviews.
