  1. True, AM4 support till 2020 is quite attractive, but them ram prices though
  2. Anything that works with Google 2FA works with authy. I strongly recommend that app since it synchronizes across your devices and you won't have the fear of losing your secret keys if you loose your phone.
  3. I am looking to upgrade my pc as my CPU is quite bottlenecking my GPU. My current specs are the following: CPU: AMD FX-8120 @ 4.5 GHz COOLER: NZXT Kraken X62 RAM: 2x8 GB 1600 MHz MOBO: Gigabyte FXA990 UD3 GPU: Asus Strix GTX 1070 Since DRAM prices are simply going through the roof and I recently kinda blew my wallet with the 1070, HTC Vive, and AIO cooler, I am trying to make the upgrade as cheap as possible while still being worth it. Therefore I was talking a few friends that work in software development and one of them recommended me to get a used LGA1150 Motherboard and Xeon E3-1240, the same as his dev machine. This way I get to keep my ram and not spend way too much on DDR4. This recommendation intrigued me as I was always looking at alternatives to stay on DDR3 and this one was the first to come forth with very promising results. He mentionned getting 150+ FPS in rainbow six siege MAX settings on a virtual machine (Direct passthrough for the GPU). I'd like to know what you guys though about it. I've been looking at prices or used Z97 motherboards and either E3-1240 or E3-1245 cpus and they seem to be pretty affordable in the near future.
  4. Have a GTX 650... It's getting old
  5. I would love to get the mouse because my R.A.T. 7 Died some time ago.
  6. I'd love to get the Kiro because my RAT7 just died on me not long ago and would love a replacement.
  7. Thanks alot for your help, I was able to do the registry hack on other Desktops to skip domain join. Now all I have left is a laptop telling me that the server is offline. But overall it now mostly works.
  8. I tried setting up my windows server for backup but I cannot find how to make it work in a workgroup. In the configuration wizard, it's only asking me to setup a domain. Linus mentioned a workaround to make it work inside a workgroup, but I haven't found one yet. I've attached a screenshot of where i'm at. Any ideas?
  9. I would love to get my SO an LG G flex 2 for Christmas like this we could still communicate, because she is still using an old Nokia phone and we're about to go long distance. Thanks alot LTT link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UFWB0FW/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_0ADAwb1C36HKB
  10. I just did, still the same thing And yes ik, many people told me to stay away from the registry, but I guess it cannot be helped.
  11. Alright so here is my story, a couple months ago I was getting tiered of the default system font in windows 8.1, so i decided to change it to the Ubuntu font because I found it more pleasing to the eye to see. Anyway, so I started searching on the interwebs if I could in fact change the default system font. My first result made me rename these two registry keys to the desired font (I might have changed the wrong ones though because changing them to Ubuntu had no effect) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes\MS Shell Dlg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes\MS Shell Dlg 2 As stated above, after a reboot nothing happened. So I left it like that until I found on a German website a program called "Windows 8 Font Changer", I then changed all the fonts (Caption font, icon font...) to Ubuntu, the program required me to log out and then back in, after that was done the changes were applied and I had the Ubuntu font as system font for windows and I was happy. But then a couple days later i noticed that my dropbox tray icon displayed this when i clicked on it, my LoL launcher looks like that and the same for Star Wars the Old Republic, Tera Rising and other games too i suppose. I have tried everything i could without success but no results, I would really like to get this fixed. Thanks for the help in advance
