So i just recently replaced my MSI gs65 cpu fan (i7-8750h, 1060) with one i got off ebay (original died on me). the issue im running into is it seems the fan i got has an rpm max of 5000 instead of 6000 like the original one did. replacing the motherboard requires an entire motherboard flip and i do not want to go through that again just to run into the same problem. essentially what im asking is if this is ok for me to continue running. the temps i get when stress testing is about 90c on the cpu and about 86c when playing a gpu heavy game. would i be ok just slapping a laptop cooler under it?

depends on the software but from what others with experience have told me, 32gb is a decent amount.

ryzen 2600 isnt a bad option, although your cpu is your bottleneck i do suggest a gpu upgrade to a 2060/1660ti you would pretty much double your fps.

bad batch, I've opened about 10 of these and not one has had this issue.

At the store i work at we still dont carry any razr laptops because there QC is crap. So im assuming it still is.

whats your budget? the HP spectre series is very good. if i remember asus boards correctly asus boards have the ability to flash the bios of the board through usb without a cpu, look into that first.

do they not have the alienware ultrawide? that one can run up to 120 hz.

h series cannot overclock, either get a z series or dont get a k cpu

We have it on display where we work, in terms of looks, it looks really nice especially for the price and in terms of returns we have had only 2 from the 40ish we sold. so my opinion is its pretty good if you want that size.
