Well my 660ti had a similar thing to the 970, except 1.5GB and 0.5GB chunks. The last 0.5GB however didn't perform as badly as the 970 does.

I agree... I just did a clean reinstall of Windows for my 970 to see if it fixes my driver issues. Did it since the last GPU was a AMD HD 7770... So why not a fresh Windows? :D

Its stupid its just one GPU is it still good value for money? How many games are you going to use the Vram on. I am just going to stay out of it all companies make mistakes.

the card still performs well, not enough for me to buy it over a 290/x but it's still a good card, people who own it should stop crying about it.

660 and 660Ti could only really truly access 1.5GB at best. The rest was slow but not too bad.

This is so true. The only thing on the subject is that i am for Nvidia, that's it. I don't want to be further involved in the whole debacle.

I would still recommend the card easily, especially for 1080p. Before the issue came to light, literally nobody complained; the card was God on Earth.
