  1. It's also 2 inches shorter though - I don't think I mind 360 extra pixels of resolution. Edit: After doing some calculations for pixel count 1080p 20736009 Ultrawide: 2764800 1440p 3686400 Wow the difference is actually quite large.
  2. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=28329&cPath=1094&utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=cse&utm_campaign=export_feed&gclid=CjwKEAiA28ilBRCy5cXrgtfTxTISJABgX7E2lVljAMStTiNuqCdITMFET77lYBUXcqYjvfvDPq6OmRoClorw_wcB#googlebase I like this one + i'll have some spare cash left over
  3. Can't give exact numbers but let's say absolute max is 850ish
  4. Thank you for your suggestions I will review these are dinner - just a note I do prefer widescreen
  5. Hi there, I'm a gamer mainly, although I watch a lot of youtube and sometimes movies. I'm looking for 1440p or ultrawide as my monitor (so no 1080p or less or 4k), don't need a 144hz refresh rate as I am happy with 60 hz. My budget is around 800 AUD. My PC runs 2 gtx 980s so it can handle whatever you throw at it and the minimum size I'm looking for is 27". I've seen the Rog Swift, but for 1000 bucks it's just too much. The LG34UM95 also looks bloody amazing but it's so expensive at 1200 bucks. Thanks
  6. I put this together in a couple minutes, not the perfect build, but this is a nice one: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8wyN99 It is also $50 more. I removed half the ram because 16gb isn't that necessary, to compensate I got a nicer CPU + mobo + PSU. You doubled the amount of storage he had in the OP, adding $125 for no reason lol
  7. What exactly are you doing with your build? I assume gaming, but which games?
  8. Yeah, that's the reason I'm going for that board. It still has the extra pins in the socket like the deluxe and 8 DIMMS etc
  9. I'm building for a friend and am using the Rampage V extreme board, he is using triple SLI, would the Rampage be better here? I'm going to be using this board no matter what because I doubt the difference is significant enough to use the deluxe (which was my first choice for his mobo), but are there any real differences?
  10. But that means we have to use AMD D: im joking pls dont kill me
  11. Friend made me a runescape account when I was like, 7 and I've been into PCs ever since
  12. Anyone know if it's possible to buy a backplate that would fit onto this GPU? Thanks
  13. Alright I've seen some temperature benchmarks, the reference design sucks at cooling, going with the twin twin frozr (hehe) Thanks
  14. I'm guessing the fan would start screaming when I play BF4
  15. WAIT... WHY NOT 1 TWIN FROZR AND 1 REFERENCE!!!!11! except that would look silly
  16. Sweet! Thank you so much, jet engines are just amazing for gaming - they really create a purely atmospheric atmosphere
  17. Stuck between these two choices, will be running in SLI. I know that the MSI has better cooling, but the nVidia reference looks better, is the superior cooling of the MSI card worth it over the looks, or is the different negligible? Thank you
  18. Just got a razer blackwidow ultimate 2014 today! Love it so much, it's a bit different to my old keyboard so I have to get used to it but it feels great.
