  1. Have an R9 390 that I adore despite me over paying now with how low the prices are. So getting another card for free sounds fun,
  2. That's pretty neat! Guess that means they were manufactured within the same company
  3. Although I despise the 960 and upcoming 1060, gotta see how it performs along with pricings and such to see if it is more worthwhile than the 960. Yeah Nvidia trying to cash grab but can't assume too much till next week.
  4. Grabbing a 390 in the cheap prices they are today are great since the 390 is equal to the 970 but definitely just wait for after market RX 480's and 1060 since they will be cheaper probably and perform equal or better to a 390.
  5. i forgot about event logs. Whelp, only critical event that happened.
  6. Sweet 16 GB not OC's at all but I guess having them at 1600 is technically XMP lol z87-g43 gaming msi board xfx r9 390 bd-rom 240gb ssd, 1tb HDD and 320gb HDD hyper 212 EVO all i have as far as i can see nNah it just shuts down mid game or right when i boot up furmark.
  7. My computer has been randomly shutting down now from booting up Furmark and halfway through a game of Overwatch. If experience serves well, it is a chance that it is my cheapo 750w PSU I bought on Ebay? I have a 390 so that should probably be a good indication, but I just want to clarify and hope I'm not just having PTSD.
  8. Finally got around to updating my information on here.Started playing Overwatch and not regretting it yet.

  9. I'll be around watching and waiting bud, don't worries
  10. ANd here's an updated video showing the 390 being greater than or equal to the 970 SSC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRDgiWBfs5I OP just asked what is better at the price difference. the 970 is. Were the two cards the same price it's better to go for the 390. But since they are not I am recommending OP the 970.
  11. Better going for the 970 since it is cheaper were they the same price a 390 is better but they aren't so 970 is your better bet.
  12. Well glad I helped. And as far as the cases go, that'll be your preference honestly and wish you the best of luck.
  13. For GPU best wait for after market 1060 or RX 480's. Or go for a 380x since the 960 doesn't beat the 380x. Or finda 970 or 380 at around 280 USD which is common now a days. But be aware of 390 since you need at best 750 watt PSU. And go for a cheapo keyboard but if you musts get a mech than go for one on massdrop since there are pretty good ones there for 50-100. And as far as casses for just look for a good micro atx case such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156320&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352032&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
