Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is easily the best these days. There isn't much difference between decent paste and good paste, but if you want the best, Kryonaut is just that.

Is that excluding post time? Cause I'm pretty sure that motherboard alone should take 5 seconds to post.

I think the dude who mentioned it sounded more closed off, I don't think he meant actual sound leakage, he meant how they actually sound to the user who's listening.

Even if you some how got it to work using DX11, what benefit do you think it'd give, it would probably be detrimental if anything.

Get any skylake or haswell i5 that isn't a low power model.

Binning is the process of testing the stability of a chip, then setting the more stable chip that reach higher frequencies into a different pile, and selling them at a higher price with higher clocks usually.
 
Intel and AMD do this with all their CPU's, an unstable/lower binned cpu might be sold as a i5-6500, whereas a higher binned product might be turned into a i5-6600 or even an i7 etc, etc.

That should be able to handle the 8 core as well as 2 660s easily.

Try that. If it works, great!. If it doesn't then try the last driver that was working good for you.
 
Although if you're trying to force AA or other settings that could be causing the Cinebench error. 

On the Skylake flatform, higher speed RAM has been show to make a minor difference, and in some rare cases, performance has sky rocketed with faster RAM, such as with Fallout 4 and Ryse Getting about a 35% frame increase from faster RAM alone.

For the small price premium of faster RAM, there's not much reason against it.

Maybe if you use a pair of ear plugs I guess, I'm just saying this from my own personal experience when I used to own a 8350. I guess it just doesn't really live up to my standard.
 
Stock Intel coolers on Intel chips however, I've had no problems with.

Oh yeah, I should mention, that motherboard you picked out is pretty overkill, you'll get along just as well on boards 70% it's price. Such as the Asus z170-Pro or the Asus Z170-A

Any GPU benchmark really, you could download Unigine Forest and leave that to loop for 15 minutes or so.

I can't be bothered trying to explain anymore, but MSi afterburner is working as it should, and the voltage is working as it should, the voltage can only go up in steps (what I revered to as profiles), you cannot go up to say 1.205v because a GPU boost profile doesn't exist for that voltage. When you increase the voltage, you are just increasing the voltage limit.

It's because GPU Boost 2 works in voltage/clock steps that are pre defined.
 
ie. 1.187v = 1386mhz, 1.2v = 1400mhz, 1.218v = 1412mhz (examples)
 
 
When you set core frequency offset, you are adding or taking away from these clock profiles.
 
Increasing the voltage allows you to go to a higher voltage/clock profile, effectively increasing your voltage limit before you throttle down from hitting temp target.
 
Overclocking with GPU boost is nothing like with overclocking 500 series and prior cards.

Touching a plugged in PSU grounds you, it's not as if touching it is going to send 230 volts into your board and destroy it.

Get a 550 or 650 watt PSU. Preferably a Be Quiet one because they rock :3

I consider x70 class series of cards high end, they are close to the top, while being a lot cheaper
Obviously that leaves x60 for mid, and x50 for entry.

CSGO is all CPU man, 750 ti will run it without issue.
 
Probably be able to get enough FPS so it wont hinder you.
