Rotary on the left and static on the right. Rotary is better if the orientation of the part matters. With a static fitting, tight is tight and you can’t spin the part.

Like previously stated just make sure the ball valve does not have a lot of tubing behind it where coolant will sit stagnant. Also make sure the drain is at the lowest point of the loop for easy draining. This is how I ended up doing mine. Crack open the res top and attach a barb fitting with soft tubing. This drains over 90% of the coolant from my system with the turn of a valve!

Greg2895 got a reaction from cluelessgenius in Loop Pressure / Temperature
From my experience with petg I have only had one issue. My fan controller failed, shutting off all of my fans while I was gaming. The coolant temp was able to rise hot enough before my gpus throttled causing leaks at some of the fittings. When petg heats up it becomes soft very quickly and the compression fittings then squeeze the pipe and it will leak. I have had petg loops for years and don’t plan on changing anytime soon.

Greg2895 got a reaction from Janner558 in Help & Feedback -- First Water Cooled Build
This is how I ended up doing my 900D build. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
1. I don't suggest using the top of the res as an inlet due to noise unless the loop has zero air in it, which is hard to manage. Not to mention filling the loop gets tricky.
2. 1 D5 pump is plenty. The only reason i have two pumps is that i wanted separate gpu and cpu loops.
3. The I use this for bending and it works great: http://www.performance-pcs.com/monsoon-hardline-pro-bender-kit-3-8-x-1-2-13mm.html
4. I suggest putting the pump directly under the res so you cant run the pump dry and it greatly helps with filling the loop and working out all the air.

Greg2895 reacted to Owen in Will There Be A Non Reference GTX 780?
Gigabyte already has a windforce 780 made (not for sale yet). http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Gigabyte/GeForce_GTX_780_OC/
Although I hear the reference cooler performance very well, is quite, and it looks awesome.

Greg2895 reacted to Billy in Blackberry Z10 Unboxing ** Need Your Feedback **
1) Thumbnails don't matter to me too much, as I just watch any new video of yours anyway, but seeing a good thumbnail going into a video by someone I have never watched before shows me that it might be of good quality.
2) I like it. Simple.
3) One of the big reasons I watch your videos Linus, is because of you. I love seeing the times when you forget something and cut (or just keep going and figure it out :) ) I love when slick is trying to tell you something from behind the camera and you just let him say it because you can't figure what he is saying out. Things like this that just make you seem like a normal person who has a talent for doing these videos but also makes mistakes from time to time. This is why you are my favourite tech channel I sub too, not because you can unbox new products.

Greg2895 reacted to 0s4x in Blackberry Z10 Unboxing ** Need Your Feedback **
1. I clicked because it was in my subscription box. It doesn't bother me what the thumbnail is, as long as the video content is great (which it almost always is)
2. Neutral about it. To be honest I barely noticed it.
3. Keep the Classic Linus style. No point trying to be exactly like everyone else out there.

Greg2895 reacted to Vaiels in Blackberry Z10 Unboxing ** Need Your Feedback **
1. I watch more of the videos with humourous thumbnails (e.g. Deathadder 2013 unboxing and Moxie shower head) however, for a more serious, longer video such as this one, a"pro" thumbnail is more fitting.
2. Macro footage is great! Very professional style and clearly points out various features of a device.
3. I'm not too sure about this one Linus. I like the informative style of the video but I think your should split this video into 2 videos. 1 just focussed on the unboxing and 1 going more in depth about all the features.
Overall, great job and there is noticeable improvement of quality and professionalism in your videos, keep it up!
