  1. Thanks for the help. I tried the suggestions in the guide but sadly my speed is still the same.
  2. I have researched and found out that Wireless N has speed limits of 450Mbps. My brother tested his Macbook Pro on the same connection and he can achieve wireless speeds just above 200Mbps. I believe his Macbook Pro is the 2012 or 2013 Model.
  3. I am using the 5Ghz connection as it is almost twice as fast as the 2.4Ghz connection. I have set my Superhub settings to choose the best wireless channel for 5Ghz.
  4. My router is not AC but it the wireless card is backwards compatible. I have tested the wireless speed when all other wireless devices were not being used and it was still capped at 113Mbps.
  5. Hello, I purchased a laptop with Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 wireless card and it says on the Intel website that this card can go up to 433Mbps WiFi speed yet when I used it at home its could only go up to a max of 113Mbps on a 200Mbps Internet Speed Connection. I have tried moving closer to the Superhub and testing the speed yet it is still capped at 113Mbps. I wanted to ask whether this is normal or is there something wrong? Kind Regards, RoyalistGamer

  7. I can download at 160mbps...(In the UK, using the ISP Virgin Media.)
  8. The laptop is going to be mainly playing games such as Minecraft which I don't think will require a fast and expensive GPU.
  9. I have increased my budget to £500 or under and have found this laptop: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/lenovo-z50-70-15-6-laptop-white-10022700-pdt.html#cat-0
  10. Im guessing you were playing Minecraft with the render distance as far. Personally, i think he wouldn't mind it being set as normal.
  11. I have found a laptop which is under my budget. Seeing that I'm not much of an expert I wanted to ask how would this laptop do: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/asus-x555la-15-6-laptop-grey-10030381-pdt.html EDIT: I have changed the link to a new laptop which i just found.
  12. I am planning on buying a gaming laptop for my younger brother but can't really find any good ones £350 or under. I personally don't know much about what hardware is best for its price on laptops. The reason the budget is low is because he will be mainly playing games such as Minecraft with 4-8 mods. I was wondering if anyone would know of any good gaming laptops £350 or under which can be purchased in the UK. Kind Regards, RoyalistGamer EDIT: My budget is now £500 or under.
