  1. I'm wondering why the B450 for 130.95 when there's an X470 for 129 https://www.alternate.be/MSI/X470-GAMING-PLUS-MAX-socket-AM4-moederbord/html/product/1569014?event=search I thought X470>B450 Don't see many important feature differences tho. More USB, PCI and USB ports/slots
  2. Thanks for the feedback. one thing I probably should have mentioned. I use an nvidia shield for my tv and do steam games to it. This kind of locks the GPU choice down to nvidia
  3. SSD I could go to 500 instead of 1TB but the storage is something I need. At the moment I got 14 TB of stuff but I'll be moving a lot of stuff to somewhere else. Do you have a suggestion for a good OS SSD?
  4. So my pc is getting pretty old (6-7 years now) so its time for an update. I live in Belgium so everything is in Euro. This is the build I configured in PC part picker and I'd like to know if it makes sense to do it this way I'll use it for gaming (LoL, Blade & Soul, Code Vein and some other single player games). At the moment I use 2 1080p monitors so thats also something to keep in mind (1 for gaming 1 for web/youtube/..) There might be an upgrade to 1440p in the next year. There will be some 3D CAD too. My hope is that this build will last another 5 years. For budget I'd like to keep it below €1500. Looking forward to your comments and/or suggestions
  5. I saw some recommendations for the 480 and some for 1070 but the price difference is astronomical, 1070 litereally x2 the price of a 480 480(€250): https://www.alternate.de/MSI/Radeon-RX-480-Gaming-X-8G-Grafikkarte/html/product/1291656?event=search 1070(€494) https://www.alternate.de/MSI/GeForce-GTX-1070-Gaming-X-8G-Grafikkarte/html/product/1280375?event=search assuming it'll power 1x 1440p 60hz and 1x 1080p 60hz
  6. Hi, I currently have a GTX 680 and a 23" 1080p normal kinda monitor and I want to upgrade I plan on using the 23" one as a secondary monitor and use a 27" 1440p for gaming. I'd like some advice on what kind of gpu I would need to run 1x1440p and 1x 1080p (1xgaming 1xseries/youtube/movie) would a gtx 1060 6gb be enough? or 1070? what about amd options? I'd also take suggestions for that kind of monitor, I live in europe so preferably something available on alternate.de or compareable european site.
