I have had a similar problem with windows 8.1 systems, what i have found is booting onto a recovery windows disk and opening dos. Then go through and re mark the booting partition as active. Im not 100% sure if this will work but it has worked on 99% of the systems I have fixed.

hi so im thinking of buying a CPU cooler and overclocking my Intel quad core from 2.5GHz and up. i want to get a decent air cooler because there isn't a decent water cooler for the 775 socket. i cant decide between these to coolers because ive heard similar things about them. im calling on the experience of others to help. thanks in advance
