  1. Yep, I used DDU in safe mode. I think the AMD drivers 17.7.2 and up are giving me problems, Ive seen in other forums where people are having a similar problem, hope they fix it soon.
  2. Putting it in legacy mode didnt fix the problem, any other thoughts?
  3. Yo, thanks for the reply. The dual bios has been left in UEFI mode since I installed the gpu. Ill give legacy a try.
  4. After further testing. When I unplug my 144hz 1440p monitor from my pc, the memory clock would to down to 150mhz, then back up to 1500mhz, then down again. ANY HELP PLEASE?
  5. Btw i have done the following: - fully uninstalled radeon drivers, then reinstalled at latest version - reinstalled at an older version of radeon drivers (17.7.2) - changed my monitor from 144hz to 60hz - i even opened my gpu again to check anything wrong, seems fine from what i saw. ALSO, SYSTEM SPECS: R7 1700 at 3.8ghz 3000mhz 16gb ram r9 390 8gb sapphire 1x 1080p LG ips monitor 1x 1440p 144hz ips Pixio monitor
  6. Essentially my 390 sapphire's memory clock would be stuck at max (1500mhz) even at idle, whilst my core clock stays at ~300-400mhz. This started happening after I repasted my gpu with MX4. Any ideas? I noticed that dust got on the ram's thermal pads, but im not sure that affects anything.
  7. I dont think so. I researched about burn in protection. Its only for amoleds and old crt displays.
  8. I had a look. Nothing in the menu relate to self-test mode. Ive been looking for a fix to this for a few days now, I know its self test mode. But it goes into it at random times and it gets annoying. Any ideas for a fix? I remember reading about specific button presses are required to be pressed and it will stop doing the self test. Problem is i dont know the buttons, i think its manufacturer specific. I also read about hidden buttons on the tv remote and how that can start/stop self-test mode. Please help
  9. My JVC 4k 49" Smart TV (LT-49N675A) cycles through solid colours at random times. It mostly does it when it gets turned on, cycling through solid colours of red, green, blue, white. Is there a fix to this? I require help! Other people have the same problem, as seen in the video: NOTE: the video isnt mine, its someone else's that I found on youtube. But what you see is pretty much what is happening to mine.
  10. Someone help? I also discovered that enablinb TalkBack fixed the issue, but I don't want to have to use talkback just to use my Softkeys (on screen buttons)
  11. If you can afford the m.2 it would be better, some of the corsair ones have gigabyte read/writes im pretty sure. But a normal ssd is fine, the only problem is that you might lose your hdd space when going with the ssd. Best case scenario is to use m.2 with your current hdd
  12. Some basic info before i begin: Phone: Moto X Style/Pure on android 5.1.1 It is rooted, but no custom roms are installed. So basically what happened was I dropped by phone, then all of a sudden the on screen (Hoime, Back and App History) buttons started to become unresponsive. I have restarted so many time just to exit an app. Firstly my basic and short term solution was to install a 3rd party on screen button app from the play store, this would put a second set of on screen buttons above the stock on screen buttons. But before this I noticed that the on screen buttons actually worked when rotated so that instead of being on the bottom of the screen they would be on top. The on screen buttons also work when i boot into recovery mode, my custom recovery is TWRP. I also wiped dalvik cache and reinstalled my apps through the recovery setup. I dont know whats going on, I even made it so that when my on screen buttons moved to the top of the screen, i would click on apps from the bottom of the screen and it would work. It doesnt seem to be a hardware issue as i have confirmed it to be working through TWRP and tapping on apps from the bottom of the screen, confirming that my touch screen is working perfectly Help me plez.
