  1. I think this phone is practically perfect. It checks all my boxes for a good smartphone; front facing speakers, expandable storage, fingerprint scanner and USB type c. The only thing that would make it perfect for me is if it was running stock Android but that's just my opinion.
  2. Not much of a problem for me, I only use one on the school's network to get around their site blocking. I guess if you use a vpn for actual 'secure' browsing that sucks
  3. Free SWKOTOR... nice! Doesn't work in Canada but those clever enough could find a way to circumvent that
  4. Canadians get a similar deal too! $224 off of a $499 price! http://www.amazon.ca/LG-Nexus5bk-Unlocked-Smartphone-Warranty/dp/B00GGQJL2K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1445479492&sr=8-1&keywords=nexus+5
  5. I wouldn't mind trading in my current phone for this beauty right here. Plus I'd be helping out a Canadian company!
  6. oh well all written Chinese is the same so it applies for mandarin and cantonese. Simplified or not like, written Chinese isn't very easy to learn so if you're finding it hard to keep up, just take your time to memorize the stuff, repetition was one of the best ways for us to learn it but don't give up. Maybe find a friend who knows the language and can help you with it. Learning languages is much easier when you have someone who knows it and can help correct you and stuff.
  7. Which dialect of Chinese do you want to learn? Its much easier to learn and to find learning software for Mandarin as it is more widely used (depending on where you are). I've looked into it and tried to find one for my "native" language of Cantonese but there aren't really any out there unless you are willing to pay. -EDIT- It also depends on what you're having difficulty on. Memorizing the characters and their sound takes time LOTS OF TIME, trust me. All of it, anything in Chinese needs lots of practice. Its something that unfortunately doesn't take overnight to learn. It took me so long I gave up on it and am starting to regret it.
  8. Well last time i was looking at parts and stuff, (like a year ago... I know, a long time), the extra price of our parts were higher even after conversion, might have to do with imports and stuff.
  9. Its still around 15% tax here in Quebec. Plus our dollar is pretty crap right now.
  10. You say NA but unjustly so. Canada hardly gets any love. Our prices are a lot more expensive than those in the states so when we do get deals they usually aren't as low or as good as the American ones.
  11. Every time I see obi worldphone I see obi wan. Seems like a good budget phone can't tell for sure if its any good right now and how good the android skin is, at least I find the colour cool.
  12. Instore only, has 1 in online store stock ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), -edit- nvm you can order from anywhere, easiest if you live in Markham or Ottawa
  13. Hah that wouldn't work here in Quebec, it'd probably tell you to get off the road entirely and walk, I hate those nid de poules.
