  1. something like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wireless-Dreambox-Network-Printer-Microsoft/dp/B005OIB6XI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1509718685&sr=8-3&keywords=ethernet+to+wifi+adaptor
  2. I know it will mean nothing to you guys but it amazes me that my uncle with a youtube channel with less than 100 subs ended up in the livestream!
  3. ok then i'll rephrase it slightly, The hybrid crossfire will only work on crossfire compatible games, which I've had terrible experiences with when i had 2 7970's, but on other games it is defaulting to the Radeon R6 graphics and not the dedicated R5 M330
  4. definitely? Radeon settings makes it look like it's a separate chip
  5. Hi Guys, I've tried searching this issue, found many others suffering but everyone else seems to be fine after reinstalling drivers and no one seems to have the specific config i have. I've got a Lenovo Thinkpad E465 with an AMD A10-8700p (15w) with dedicated R6-M340DX graphics. I cannot get any game to use the dedicated graphics instead of the apu's integrated gpu. Things I've already Checked/tried: All power saving options are turned off (as far as I'm aware, changed everything to max performance in advanced battery options) Switchable Graphics Global Settings are set to Maximise performance Set individual programs to 'High performance' in Switchable graphics application settings (When running the monitor they still open in power saving) Removed all drivers with DDU and tried installing the recommended driver from AMD's website, this results in the laptop loading to a black screen apart from in safemode where device manager shows it has installed drivers for a R5 530 (i think) Removed drivers with DDU and let windows update install drivers itself, this works however still only on integrated. When disabling the integrated graphics in device manager to try and force it to use dedicated, it reverts back to the basic Microsoft driver and is horrendously slow Radeon Software Version 16.6 Any ideas guys? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I do quite like this laptop but I would like it a lot more if I could actually use the hardware!
  6. Annoyingly I've found a few other cases like this, they all seem to apply to older amd processors (Phenom II and Athlon) but no answers! I did buy the board used, but it can't be that old it's an FM2+ board?
  7. I would recommend 2133mhz memory as apu's use the system memory for the GPU. Might make it worth going for 8gb ram also
  8. Hi everyone, I have an interesting problem. I have an a10-7850k running on an MSI a88xi-ac motherboard as a home server. Every time the cpu lowers the multiplier, the windows clock slows down. I was losing a few minutes per day. I thought I could get round this by disabling AMD cool and quiet and C6 (might have been C1e) state. I've also disabled TURBO and manually set the multiplier to 37x, but it's still slowing down and losing about 10-20 seconds a day? I've also noticed in HWmonitor that the cpu is slowing down / speeding up still? I've seen the clock as high as 5.3ghz! I've already had to make the windows clock sync online every 6 hours instead of every week, but this is less than Ideal. does anyone have any suggestions?
  9. Erm, well, this is a bit embarrasing, I have a K95 already! Struggled to understand how to record a macro in the first place then gave up, didn't realize I could already do it all onboard! It told me I had to download some software to do it. Thank you so much!
  10. HI everyone, I'm after some advice. I'm looking for a mechanical; back lit keyboard with macro buttons, that you can program within the keyboard itself if such a thing exists? I don't want to use software on the pc for it as I work on virtual/remote machines. Can anyone help?
  11. Another note that might be helpful. I noticed that the fan controller dials on the case IO panel, when put all the way clockwise (max speed) the fans went back to idle speed, setting it just below max worked fine, might be worth looking in to?
  12. I used to have a xpredator, with that I had 240mm on the front intake, 240mm on the side intake, 140mm bottom intake, top + rear 140mm exhaust. Could try something similar to that?
