  1. On my pc the psu is new i just bought it because i also thought that it's the problem but it seems not because my pc still wont open even with a new psu which is a 650w 80+ silver raider (not sure about the brand forgot it) and on the pc of my brother which was working perfectly before i used the gpu is a corsair 750 something The pc which runned with the gpu once was my bros Mine doesnt open at all
  2. I have 2 pc's my bro and mine My pc wont open (just runs the fans and shuts off after 1 second ) I tried to check what was the problem so i took out my video card and installed it to my bros pc and tried to run it but wont run So i borrowed his gpu and installed it to mine and it runned no video feedback though(faulty hdmi maybe because i just bought the hdmi and didnt test it ) Then i tried it with my gpu on and it wont run with it on, after that i returned my bros gpu to his system but it wont work anymore too, now the same problem (my computer's original problem)is happening to his pc now we have 2 shorted out gpu.
  3. The computer runs but it does not post (said by my Bbro) the fans only spin the monitor does not detect the gpu while it runs fine without the gpu after a couple of tries it opened with the video card on it but after a restart it just doesn't work anymore
  4. How do i fix a grounded gpu ??? And how does a 650w psu overcharge a 960 gpu ??? The computer runs but it does not post (said by my Bbro) the fans only spin the monitor does not detect the gpu while it runs fine without the gpu after a couple of tries it opened with the video card on it but after a restart it just doesn't work anymore
  5. So i have recently found out that my psu is broken now I dont where do i throw it away??? I figured that it will be a hazard if i throw it away at the bin like normal trash so..... where do i throw it away???? Also any suggestion for a new 600w+ psu??? (On a budget)
  6. So my computer has been having alot of trouble in starting most of the time just pressing the on button again fixes it, that problem has been occuring for multiple times in the past two years now but only has me troubled today pressing the on button again doesn't fix it anymore, I tried issolating the problem to my button (which is not) by trying to switch power and restart button ( which didn't help at all) so i tried shorting the power pins(another fail) then 1 miracle happened after switching the psu off and on I pressed the on button then the fans started spinning for quarter of a second (really fast) now i dont know the problem, which is where i need the help with. Help please P.S my main components except gpu is 5 yrs old ( dont know if this info contributes to anything but here it is) Edit* I have managed to isolate the problem to the psu because when i took out the video card it worked perfectly, I suspect that the power output that the psu is lower than it's original capacity ( due to age)
  7. everything is my favorite but the one that i really need is the cpu cooler since it's so hot in this country so when im rendering videos my cpu gets hot 2nd would be the power supply since i am planning to buy a new video card which is why i may need a power supply PLUS I'm excited for the mineral oil pc build part 2
