  1. You have one friend buy the new album on Vinyl (or know someone with a record store & borrow said album) and then record it on to blank cassette tapes which cost cents to buy & then share it with your mates.
  2. Just bought these to finish off my NAS (PSU & SSD are going in my PC) should be here Tuesday!
  3. Last time a production iPhone 4 got leaked, Gizmodo got banned from all Apple events..
  4. 12 months ago my $28/hr AUD ($21/hr USD) job was fine for the 36 hours a week I work. I lived comfortably & always had money to splurge on random shit I wanted. Now, it's like yeah, I can pay bills, keep food on the table & my dogs fed & cared for. But that extra money I put into savings or splurged with has about gone now. With the way things are going in Australia, who knows what the future holds. All I know is it sucks currently. It should be noted I'm paid relatively well for my job & position, and I am not management in anyway.
  5. I prefer this Party Parrot.. Also, your username is a bit rude...
  6. It showed up today! Now to just get a cooler & power supply for it.
  7. I have a Stanley fatmax ratcheting screwdriver & it is an absolute piece of shit. Worst $50 I've ever spent on a tool. The bits are too soft, I ended up having to buy my own set of bits, so I could use it. The rubber grip on the handle can't take too much torque before it starts to slip, the holder for the extra bits in the driver is awkward to get them in & out. The shaft isn't permanently attached to the body & has far too much play in it. Also, the magnet in it is pretty weak, i've often left bits behind after using it. It's not even comfortable to use. I'm at a point in my life I want quality & am happy to pay more money for something that is going to last. I'm sick of cheap screwdrivers, they don't last or have a proper fit with screws.
  8. The fact you're "Friends on Facebook" tells me it's a scam. No business, high profile personality etc will use a regular a Facebook account to contact you regarding a competition you have won. I just searched "TweakTown" on Facebook & selected pages, the 3rd result is the official page. But so many fake pages out there.
  9. This is how I always explained it to anyone who asked what it was/
  10. Just picked up a Core i5 7600k, ASUS Z270i ITX motherboard, 250GB WD Black NVME drive & 16gb of Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz DDR4 ram for $430 AUD ($320 USD) will go well in my spare Ncase M1, just need a cooler, PSU & some fans, and I will have a working NAS again. I already have this motherboard which cost me almost this much when I bought it brand new 4 or 5 years ago!
  11. Well that's smart. I'd also hope they're glass, considering the price they are.
  12. Eh. Are we talking plastic or glass lenses? I've scratched plastic lenses before from dust on the surface of them.
  13. Err… Both of my Sony TV's have permanently attached power cords, along with my other TV, which is a TCL. The only way to remove the power cables from these TV's is to open them up & unclip them that way.
  14. Well shit. Every tilt slab constructed building in my town is practising witchcraft then. It's pretty common to paint concrete floors & walls in Australia. Less exposure to the elements means wear is also reduced.
  15. The problem I see here is they're using DHL. I got burned YEARS ago (2016 I think) by DHL when ordering from Dbrand, it took over 10 weeks for my order to turn up when it was stated it was to arrive in 14 days. Since then if ordering from overseas, I avoided DHL. I personally prefer Aramex as my local courier is awesome & i've always gotten my stuff within 24 hours of it arriving at the Gold Coast depot.
  16. It eventually showed up & I stupidly built it in one night, took me around 6 hours to complete with a pit stop for dinner.. The girlfriend also got me these for Valentine's Day. She loves buying me lego haha.
  17. Mad workshop. But, what was the thing blurred out in the background at the start of the video. Looked like it may be some kind of rude painting/spray painting? Also, is this workshop for just personal fun projects, or is it like a side business?
  18. I mean… Keychron Mechanical Keyboards aren't that much more in the US from memory. I just bought my Keychron K10 with Gateron blue switches for $100 AUD, which is like, what, $70 USD…
  19. Volta have really dropped the ball. I backed them back in the day with the OG cables & tips, and they're local to me (their head office was only 30 mins away back then) so I felt good supporting small local business. Since then i've heard they're nothing but a pain to deal with. Also Volta have been a long time sponsor of LMG/LTT, their partnership date back to when they were still in the house. I think that's where I first learnt about them funnily enough. Disappointing to hear that there's no timeframe & they're being shit at communication. But that's normal, as a mate bought some new cables & tips from them & they haven't been shipped yet & they haven't communicated with her about & she heard back from support something like 2 weeks after she emailed them.. So yeah..
  20. Bought this the other night. Now just gotta wait for it to turn up. Also trying to find one of these or these to buy, but everyone has fucked ideas on pricing. 50-100% more than original MSRP.
