4690k FOR SURE. THe 9590 has ALL kinds of issues. Don't even consider it.

Yeah, in that case it would make more sense to get the 265 then. Oh well.

Are there any other versions of the 750ti from other companies which have a 6-pin connector and are cheap?

NEither of those. KIA was making crap when that car released, and that VW will cost  a TON of money to run and repair. I have owned multiple VW's. Theyare neither cheap to mantain or reliable.
 
Look for an accord, camry, civic, corolla, sentra. Stay away from euros.

The H440 is a great case. Not my favorite of my first choice, but it is definitely a good case.

No way are the traces messed up from those scratches. I would not evenw orry about this, OP.

He has a worse GPU so it is possible he is using alot lower settings which will help. We do not know what monitor resolution you both use.
 
I seriously doubt you have any ground to make a real claim for him getting better FPS.
 
What you need to do, is play a game where you think there is a difference. Then remove your CPU and install his. Play the same game for a while and see what the FPS are. I seriously doubt they will be different.
 
As of now you have WAY WAY too many variables to make any such claim

It is very unlikely that there will be any difference between an i5 and an i7 in years to come in game performance.

Light scratches like that should be no issue at all. I would not even worry about it.

I chose this cooler because of it's value for money. It benchmarks right with the NH-D14 and H100i but only costs $45. It keeps my 3570k @4.5ghz under 54c in Intel Burn test. I have had the chip at 5ghz before perfectly stabe under 66c which is supposed to be impossible on air with this CPU. I also did get lucky with the silicon lottery, but this is a VERY good cooler for the money.
 
I also love how it looks very different from all other traditional tower air coolers. For the resord I do not like closed loop AIO coolers at all.

Thanks! It's nice to be able to just be a forum member. Doing builds for people all day and running around policing people's behavior does get tiring. It gets old having to be all like "don't buy this PSU or that motherboard" all the time. :lol:

Thanks! It's nice to be able to just be a forum member. Doing builds for people all day and running around policing people's behavior does get tiring. It gets old having to be all like "don't buy this PSU or that motherboard" all the time. :lol:
