I guess you just can't beat the versatility of a true desktop OS like Windows.

A desktop i5 cpu is not slow compared to a mobile cpu processor. Like the ones that are common in today's laptops. It actually probably beats your 6th i7 laptop depending on what i7 is in your laptop.

As long as you keep the thermals under control it will be fine. Also as long as you don't drop your PC lol.

its still theft and loss of earnings for the company.. if 1 million people get it for free thats a large number of potential lost sales.. I'm not saying anywhere near that 1 million would have bought it.. but some would.. even if it was 10% .. thats 100,000.. for a $50 game thats $5 million in lost revenue... i don't know about you but if i lost 5 mil.. id be pissed..
 
and you say about not having demos or in engine tests.. you don't get demos in restaurants.. or you can't live in a house for 6 months before you buy it.. do you steal food and houses too?
same with pc tech.. you can't get a demo of a gpu or cpu.. its just reviews .. same with games.. so i take it you'd be ok with someone stealing your pc and then trashing it when they're done.. as its just a demo..

I am in a residence townhouse with 5 other guys. 1 of them is never here, so i wont count him, but the others are plain lazy. I purchased all the dishes/ glasses/ pots/ utensils from a yard sale. AKA I own 80% of them.
 
I do the dishes once a week, along with vacuuming the house, and clean the bathrooms(one of them I don't even use). Nobody else does anything.
To get back at them, i purchased a months worth of paper plates, and cleaned one pot for myself. I have not done anything since.
Its been 5 weeks, bathrooms are disgusting, all of the dishes are dirty. Garbage covering the counter, bins full.
One roommate complained to me, asking why I had stopped doing the dishes. I told him that I wanted us to all pitch in. He said I was being an asshole.
 
This weekend, I'm going to do all of the dishes, and then take them to my room for myself only.
 
 
Any suggestions for what i should do? This is really more of a rant than anything.

To answer your question. No. It isn't about if they should. It's that they won't make a battery case for the IPhone 5s. The phone is over 2 years old. Why would they make a new accessory for an older product? when they can make the accessory for the new product to entice you to buy it. It's simple business. They leave the third parties to the older products.

The "contender" has been out for a long time. Its called the Surface Pro. It also runs a full version of Windows so you don't need to use gimped programs.

Let's give credit where credit is due...

They're not removing flash or daily sales, they're removing the 2 tier discount so the games are at one price for the duration of the sale. 
 
It means people who buy a game that 24 hours later goes on a flash sale for cheaper aren't going to hammer the refund service so they can save a few £$€¥¢s.

I agree with the others; I would get a Surface Pro 4 before an iPad Pro.

Me too. Surface Pro 4 looks like M$ finally figured out how to make a surface. Heck, iPad pro doesn't even have usb-c... Way to go backwards from the macbook...

The way I see it, it's a powerful and promising device with a strange use case and an overly restrictive OS. I'd go with a Surface Pro 4 before I'd go with an iPad Pro.

I assume you are not open to products outside of Apple? If you are, a surface pro 3 or 4 would suit your needs perfectly.
Between the 2 ipads... If you need a full size keyboard (I assume you do for school) or want to handwrite notes then the ipad pro fits better. But having said that, I do not recommend the ipad pro to anyone unless they have money to throw away. For university my surface pros got me through it. I was always helping people who brought ipads or other tablets because they couldn't connect to a projector, USB drive or print etc
