  1. Great build Melchio! You SHOULD be proud of it! Clean and well put together!
  2. $3,000? You'll be joining my club! Thought you were smarter than me! If you can't be smarter than me then be more creative than me with that $3,000! Happy Buildin'!
  3. Hi IVIeLt, nothing wrong with this rig, I bet you can surf the web, look a these forums, see the cursor in games and Frag-a-plenty with the best of us with this PC. You're the smart one for not spending $2-$3,000 on a PC... Like I did! :) And the blue stripes are growing on me...
  4. I own the ASUS Z77-V PRO MoBo and I really enjoy the "Fan Expert" feature. This board like others have said has a WI-FI card, but you can also use that card as a sort of "repeater" or wifi network extender. I'm currently using the auto tuning feature which gives me an easy one button 4.2 MHz overclocked setting on my 3770K, more than I need... The ASUS board is easy and comfy, all I'll ever need for now.
  5. Hi DeevoGold, from what I've heard your Z68 "GEN 3" MoBo is taking full advantage of your Ivy Bridge CPU and then some. GEN 3 has to do with PCi3 band width and there are no graphics cards that will even max out Pci2 bandwidth at this time, but the day will come rest assured. You've have some "future proofing" built in there for now. Be happy, happy gaming!
  6. My ASUS Z77-V PRO has been flawless and I like the easthetics, you can see it in the build logs, Alien0227's Obsession. In another build I used an ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 and had to RMA that one for a faulty audio chip set.
  7. Go to a hardware store and get a 5 gallon bucket paint bucket roller screen. About $2.49 at Home Depot or Lowe's in the state. You might have to paint it whatever color you want.
  8. I own the NZXT Hue and it offers more than I need and it is bright enough in my opinion. Lots of colors and colors in between, fade in fade out, lots of option. I just use mine with white lighting on brightest setting. You can see it in the build log section under Alien0227's Obsession. For $32 it's one of the best values in case lighting...
  9. Have you checked to see how many other applications/programs are running in the background? Sounds to simple, I know...
  10. I've used PcPitStop software in the past to keep my laptop humming, it's pay software but pretty inexpensive, it worked for me.
  11. Hi lanesz, You don't mention if you've changed the clock, memory or voltage settings on the card. In AfterBurner on left side main screen on the bottom right is a "reset" button that will bring your card to "stock" settings, have you tried that? Your GPU temps will go up proportionaly with your ambient room temps by the way, that's normal.
  12. Hi Glathier, you know... I feel the same way about it every time I turn the thing on! Thanks for looking at it and commenting!
  13. Hi Dacho, love my office now, it suits me! That's the point of custom PC building isn't it? :) Thanks for the approval!
  14. Go for it Shiva! It's an awesome feeling to build your very first PC rig! Better when it's your 2nd... :)
