  1. ya i hate beer too... had the dad talk "son if you drink beer drink craft beer the cheep stuff will mess you up" you want the aio rad above the cpu block or air can be trapped in the cpu block causing problems so bottom mount would be last resort. for custom loop it gets confusing i ran in to problems with my loop as my case is so dam big i cant move it around for the bubbles..
  2. well its one of thow air mixing setups just like side intake. better then non but worse then an air flow setup. im guess
  3. i have no idea all i no is some part on the ssd dose not like being too cold or it complanes. linus did a video on this. i think 40c was a sweet spot if i remember? my ssd are only 500gb and are thee for looks so i could care less if there slower or not.. and i when out of my way to get one with all the chips on the top side. but the ssd water blocks cost like $75 each...
  4. there are ssd that have the chips on one side. but the controller cant go below a serten temp or there will be problems. there has be no proof that cooling a ssd will make it last longer.. its just a guess cooler better right? the cost to cool it is already a wast of moeny and can be spent on replacing it if it dies... but you can cool it for looks thow my build will do this and some. also 8x 560...
  5. ya its fuged up. i think i no why. the answer is well go take self defiance lessons or go to school to learn to talk out a situation. but i think all it is is "making jobs" caring around a knife or mase dose not make jobs. its just like the do or die go green even thow its still a legal to put a wind turbine in your yard you think if we need to go green now then things like that would be lifted.. anyway way off tack. but there is a point to having arms and not having em. crime is worse with them then with out. but people want them because only thing they know and the so called right to have it. souldnt need a arm if you no the other guy most likey dosnt have an arm ether. not saying crime is knife are less or more with arms or not. people dont need a maceangun in there house... ever.
  6. wtf man go have beer or something. there no one size fits all. all case are a bit different we just take a guess at what is the best option for fans. i do have a lian li evo that i was going to test this my self but have not as my info skills is lacking. and we are like talking a few degress here wich could be with in error... but maybe one day ill do it. ssf case normally dont have may option to put rads if you can even put rads... kinda stupid to add that imo people that build sff dont care. front intake rad is best for cpu temps because its not taking the hot air from the gpu thow it. but it dumps it heat at the gpu making it SLIGHTLY hotter (like 1-2c) side intake will push the hot air aganes the side and is much worse the front mounted. no idea how much wors it is thow just a guess bottom fans are best for gpu cooling when case have thows not all case have bottom fans... why because the gpu exhaust its heat out the side at the side pannal and the bottom fans help push the air up instead of some being sucked back in to the gpu. back fan is also imported for the gpu exhaust top mount rads as intake is a weird setup and have no idea how it would work. top rad as exhaust would be hotter because of it sucking gpu exhaust thow it ALL configs are like with in like 1-3c so who the fuck cares... there more then just cpu and gpu temp there also vrms and ram and other things... like a down draft cpu cooler workd really good for vrm temps. all this is imo and i have no facts to back it up. i have see people do test.
  7. ya in Canada you cant use anything to self defiance. and if you do your in the wrong to save your life...
  8. there's alot of double post for the voting... static presher for rads but thick ones hard to say if you need them for 28mm thick ones intake out side and exhusting out side is best temps but case like that cost alot more. front/side intake better for cpu temps but worse for gpu top intake and side/front exhaust and bottom intake can work works agenst the bottom fans.
  9. hard lines if done right most of the water should all come out but you still have to remove all the tubing. soft with qdc can be way simpler but qdc cost alot... if you had 2 loops that could make say swapping just the gpu out easier i thought about using on/off instead of qdc but i could not find enough of them and tried buying t and y but they never shipped...
  10. aio on the side as intake and back and top fans as exhaust well having bottom fans as intake.
  11. hard to say what is the best 140mm fan. i no the bq pro 4 140mm was as good as there 120mm fan.
  12. ya the core has the hub built in were the pro uses the hub. there something els they fixed with it but i dont remember. the xt also i think can take one hub. but no idea what controls it has i have not got one yet. might be loosing interested in argb... the pro can do more fans thow. and the lnp can kinda be external with the usb cable.
  13. the pro is old the core is new so there a ln core as well.
  14. it going to be a pain finding a 98se sticker... i miss case barges never got to do the light up badge mod... problem is what happens when you upgrade...
  15. i think this site kinda makes you want to max things out or get new stuff even thow you dont need it... 3090 to play diablo 2...hmm
  16. i spent $800 for my p4 but got my dad hand me downs after that. like gpus mostly. i did buy the i7920 i had but later on got some gpus from my dad like 260 and 560. i think i had a 3450 hd or something... it was fanless... but it payed my diablo 2 so.... later on somthing hapend and he blamed me for the gpu past drying up even thow i never installed the water black.. it nice to get free stuff but some times it comes with baggage...
  17. i be-leave there e legal to own or make. posably they cam be kept at the shooting range and i think you have to let some one know your using it and for what. but could be wrong. i only no this because i looked in to it for paintball... i no how they work and made but you cant make it. posably a Canadian thing...
  18. you cant just plug a nintendo game in to usb... the only thing that you can do is buy a rom dumper and use emulators to play that rom. or the most legal way of doing it thow not officially and never will be...
  19. the cpu see oh its cooler so up the wats to stay at its limit. getting a bostbin. but amd will give you more proframce the cooler well intel wont. there videos on how temp and under volting works.
  20. 120mm fans were the best for static presher that 140mm fans could not do. back in the day when testing was done. but also we thought thick rads were aslo the best. thick 60+mm rads in push/pull was the norm. but then more testing from thinner rads (cheaper) and cheaper non static presher fans and spending the moeny on another rad then push/pull/ thick rad was better. so static presher fans in push/pull with thick rad < single fan with 2x thin rads hencs the stander 30mm aio rads (28mm now...) but now that cpu are getting bigger and hotter and better fan motors may make 140mm fans doable now. and they found a way to make it as good as a 120mm fan but... they cost alot. so problem with bigger fan was how fast it can go and blades bending or motors diying. that was a problem with 200mm fans.
  21. no idea. i guess hier temps would reduce low long it will last. with out cpu temps or gpu temps i cant help nor can anyone els. i mean who cares about the aio imo the gpu is more importend. cpu can handle hire temps but i just dont no. maybe some will chime in with better info on water temp. but its clear to me the the temp will be hi because of no air thow the rad and heat being traped. having the side off would help alot. putting it on could kill the gpu and probably the aio sooner.
  22. there not many case that have glass on the front, side and top. there some with 120mm fans there is a case coming out called the phanteck nv9 witch has 140m fans. dont no how many hdd it will have but 2 hdd is prity common. 4 hdd i dont no. case that have a solid front tg are not vary good for air flow thats why case with side intake is a little better. and even better with bottom intake as well. i guess it will be hard to find a case they way you want it. or change what case you like.
