  1. Upgrade from 3770k and with that no problems with v-ray rendering from now on =D.
  2. Kuhler 1250 - Currently using a Havik 140, great but so loud.... Would like a new case from my broken mic front I/O port corsair white 500r.
  3. Congratulations! I've learnt all my tech from you guy and still got a lot to learn =D. Keep it up, the shenanigans and professional videos they're all awesome! It's the behind the scene what makes you guys so special!

  5. Customisable buttons at the bottom (back/home etc)
  6. Yep sounds like a plan if I win the lottery haha. Efficient is good, as a student I need to save as much as a can.. But the only reason I'm considering 8350 is it could be cheaper (including MOB). New Zealand's has awful pricing for computer components.. Even buying from amazon could add 15% for custom goods tax..
  7. Apologies for my late reply, I'm using Rhino 5 rendering with V-Ray. True, but I'm not sure of my chances of selling my 3570k in New Zealand. Hearing that I have a bit more faith in my cooler then. I'll try my chances of selling my old core and see how much I can get out of it. Thanks you! I think I'm better of getting that 3770k I guess the little bit more money spent goes a long way.
  8. Hi, I'm currently a student of design in New Zealand running a gaming system trying to render high resolution/material intensive quality images. My current system: CPU: 3570k Motherboard: Asus Z77 M-Pro Ram: 2x4GB Corsair LP, 2x 4GB Crucial Ballistix (both CL9, 1600) Cooler: Havik 140 GPU: Sapphire 7850 HDD: 1TB Black Western Digital SSD: 240GB Crucial M500 PSU: Seasonic 620W Case: Corsair 500R For this system it would take an average of 45min-1hour to render one image (year 1), but considering I'm entering year 2, I expect a higher standard in renderings that must be produced. The current computers provided by the school are also 4 cores which wouldn't be much different to mine. So for now I'm considering either upgrading to 3770k or 8350 with a new motherboard. In terms of price to performance for rendering, how much of a difference would 3770k and 8350? The problem also lies in stocks for 3770k, there's no more 3770k in stores so the only way is through amazon and ship to New Zealand. *3770k second hand can go for 450NZ (about 370US) which are extremely rare to come by *8350 new comes around 280NZ (about 280US) also a new motherboard on top of that (I could potentially use the old CPU MOB to upgrade my father's old computer, he's running a Core Duo Pentium? But he's only on firefox) Also the heat output from a 8350, is my cooler enough to do a small overclocking? I hope most of this made sense and look forward to opinions and feedback. Thanks!
  9. Hey Austin Powers, I think you've just convinced me to buy G600. The functions seems endless and I've had some problems with Corsair M90 macros. Right now I installed drivers and after shut down they don't seem to work anymore.. I might fully consider the G600 which is cheaper with more keys as well, plus the extra lighting! But only problem is the natural back and forward button on the side for web browsing... I've also held a G600 in shops and it feel so natural in the hands and I understand what you mean by the increase of dpi when using it. So right now either I get a full Corsair gaming set or get Logitech that seems promising as well.. For the M65 I I think I need a few more macros when using programs. But will look into the M65. Thanks for the replies!! Helped a lot =D.
  10. Hey, I'm new to the forum and wondering if I can get some opinions on which mouse to get. I'm planning to use this more for Photoshop work and 3D modeling usage than optimised for gaming. I do play some mmo, so I do game a bit but not often, planning to upgrade mouse hoping to work more efficiently. I live in NZ which products are limited and they cost more, M95 will cost me a bit more than the G600 but not sure whether the price difference is worth the money (give or take $30 different). I already own a Corsair K90 which is working finely with my Corsair 1300 headset, I'm not sure to get corsair mouse to go with the corsair theme or get Logitech and be different.. I have a Corsair 500R white case as well, so I'm considered a fan or Corsair products. Planning to get a mini SteelSeries mouse pad to go with it, I don't need need a large mouse pad or anything but something nice to go along with mouse. Thanks for your time and look forward to hearing from yous.
