Solid JEZ's Achievements

  1. Any reason in special? Because they look fine in paper...
  2. Actually, I have a Samsung 840 evo of 240GB and it works pretty fine. So I'm planning to get a 480GB SSD to store games because I want to have enough space for programs and OS in my actual SSD.
  3. Over the past 3 months I've been looking for a price down on the Corsair Neutron GTX SSD series and now, Corsair has launch a new SSD XT. My question here to you is this: is it worth to expand a bunch more buck on the XT or should I get the price down Neutron GTX SSD? Have you used any of those two??? I'd like to hear from you!!!
  4. I also did that, and I've checked every PCIe with my wifi adapter, and updated my bios with every single update from Asus... Sadly, I have to declare it as DOA.... All that has to be done it to get the refund from Amazon, and thank you everyone for your help!!! BTW, I'm posting this from my first build pc (without GPU )
  5. It is on day theme. I did plug all conectors: 8 pin end to the PSU; 1x 8-Pin + 1x 6-Pin to the GPU. I friend has a technician friend that said something like that happened to him, and he contacted Nvidea and they've told him that his GPU has so new compared to his mobo that it wouldn't recognize it. Nvidia told him to update the BIOS and worked for him... I'm gonna go for that and keep you posted!
  6. Either way shows nothing. A friend of a friend said something like that happened to him and he fix it by updating the BIOS... I hope it works
  7. Of course! Because when it is not connected, the leds on the pin connector light up in red, and when it's connected they're blue.

    Troubleshooting GTX 980

  9. That's right, one 8 pin end to the PSU, and the other 6 & 8 pin to the GPU. This cable I took it from the PSU cables kit.
  10. Before reporting it as DOA, I'd like to do all that is possible...
  11. I did plug my monitor on both the GPU and the motherboard HDMI, I even checked if the HDMI cable was functioning by plugging it to my laptop and worked fine. I plugged the 8 pin and the 6 pin, although the GPU came with a two 6 pin connector...
