  1. For the input latency I'm not sure if I could really notice the difference but the visual smoothness I do want that due that the current game I mainly play right now is Black Desert online wherein the more fps I could push the attacks/animations of my character will be faster.
  2. Sorry for the late reply and thanks for your input. I did forget that the PG248Q supports 180Hz, I only did use it at 160Hz since when I did make it to 180Hz i didn't like the colors tho the colors aren't that great from the start since its only a TN panel but I do intend to keep the PG248Q as my 2nd monitor for just chrome browsing and for discord tabs etc. As for the M27Q-X I was looking at that too but unfortunately I think its not available here in the Philippines. For the pricing I the M27Q is around 342$ here and for the 27QS is 468$. Do you think the 100$+ price difference is justifiable just for the 240Hz?
  3. Hello guys I'm looking to upgrade my current main monitor which is a PG248Q. I really want to get a 240Hz one but the Omen 27QS is the only one I can find here in the Philippines. Is it worth going for the 27QS over the M27Q which is highly recommended as one of the best budget 1440p gaming monitor? I can't find any other reviews on Omen 27QS aside from RTINGS and based on my understanding the performance of the 27QS is the same or slightly on par with the M27Q.
  4. Thanks, are you perhaps familiar with the AWP one? or should I just go with the cyberpower since they are more well known?
  5. Yes I did but the frames still keeps dropping when i have my main display on 160hz or higher. Also noticed that it also just don't happen if i have my browser playing anything. I also noticed that if i open my OBS software frames also dip.
  6. Hello, I'm looking to get a new UPS for my current pc. I am looking at these two options since these two are the only pure sine wave UPS that are available currently here in my country that is within my budget. https://shopee.ph/CyberPower-CP1500EPFCLCD-UPS-i.293567999.8264969597 https://shopee.ph/AWP-ArcPure-1200W-1500VA-UPS-Pure-Sine-Wave-with-AVR-Uninterruptible-Power-Supply-6-Sockets-i.358765028.12081459744?sp_atk=e1d59755-7a9b-4227-9a0c-e48c5856f03a&xptdk=e1d59755-7a9b-4227-9a0c-e48c5856f03a Here is my full pc specs: Case: H7 Flow Black Cooler Nocuta NH-D15 Chromax.Black CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X Motherboard: Asus ROG B550-F Gaming WiFi II GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7800XT RAM: G.Skillz Trident Z RGB 2x16GB DDR4 3600Mhz CL18 PSU: NZXT C1200 Display: Asus VC239H & PG248Q
  7. So far the main game that I am playing black desert online, I haven't noticed any artifacting. I did some fiddling around on my monitors' refresh rate, and I've found that overclocking my 2nd display from 60hz to 74hz also works. Now instead of locking my main display to 120hz, I have bumped it up to 144hz and so far there are no issues.
  8. Update: I think I have found a band-aid solution to the problem. It seems that the cause of the fps drop stutter is my monitor's varying refresh rates which are 60hz & 160hz. The solution was the suggestion that I found while googling around for a fix was a comment in a superuser forums post. The suggestion was to make the refresh rate of the higher hz monitor double that of the lower one. So in my case, my 2nd display is 60hz I just dropped down my 160hz to 120hz and the issues are gone based on my testing. Will update if the issue is completely gone or if it resurfaces.
  9. No worries, update on the dropping my main monitors to 60hz on the main game which is black desert there weren't noticeable drops in frames but i tried on genshin which is always capped at 60fps i was getting significant stuttering.
  10. I haven't but will do, tho the game that I am currently playing right now is very fps dependent.
  11. So this has been an issue way back? Regarding multiple high refresh rate monitors, I am only running my PG248Q as the main/gaming monitor at 160hz and my 2nd one is only 60hz. By any chance do you know any band-aid methods that can minimize the fps dips?
  12. Hello, I've just recently upgraded from my GTX 1080 to an RX 7800XT so far the performance is good but I've noticed that when I have any videos playing on my 2nd monitor my frame tanks on the game I'm playing or I experience s stuttering. For example, if I have a twitch livestream running on my 2nd monitor and I'm on that tab my frame dips from 160ish to 80-90ish but if go to another tab that is just static or doesn't have any videos playing it goes back up again. I have the latest drivers installed for my GPU and the latest bios update on my motherboard. Haven't done any tweaking on my gpu its all on stock. My cpu is a 5600X with curve optimizer set to -25 which is running pretty stable. For my monitors im using a PG248Q and VC239H. My full specs is in my signature if needed.
  13. Thank you for taking the time on searching in our local websites, I appreciate it a lot. I did see this FSP one but I thought they are not that good but if they are on the same league as the MSI and NZXT I may just go with the FSP ones.
  14. Thanks for your opinion, I did forget that I don't have any care whatsoever regarding ray tracing. In terms of the video encoder has AMD caught up to Nvidia's? I did some searching but I can't seem to see any in depth comparisons/review regarding this.
  15. Hello guys, I'm planning on upgrading soon I need some advice as the tittle says should I for a brand new 7800XT or used 3080/3080ti/6800XT? Getting the latter for brand new is somewhat out of the question since they are still selling those at release prices here in my country so the best deals I can get for the 3080/3080ti/6800xt are on the used market the 7800XT goes for about 650$ for the sapphire ones and they are the ones that are mostly available to buy. As for the used 3080 they go for around 415-523$, the 6800XT are around 380-451$ and lastly the 3080ti's go for 540-650$. I'll be mostly using it for gaming at 1080p but i do also plan on upgrading to 1440p down the line. I also intend to do live streaming on twitch. My full pc specs are also in my signature if needed. Edit: I forgot to say that I don't care for ray tracing.
  16. Thank you i'll go and read the link. I'm from the Philippines the brands/model choices here are quite limited imo.
  17. Oh I see, unfortunately I can't find the model that you have recommended here in my country
  18. So either of the two are good? edit: if they are not can you recommend some other models/brands that would be better for the same price point.
  19. Thanks for the recommendation I'll look into it if that specific model/brand is available here in my country. May I ask if the MSI or NZXT one are not good?
  20. Hello guys I need some recommendations or advice regarding what PSU would be good. I'm planning to upgrade my gpu which is a gtx 1080 to something along the lines of a rtx 3080/3080ti or RX 6800XT/7800XT. As of now I have 2 options that I'm looking into which are the MSI MPG A1000G ATX 3.0 or the NZXT C1200 Gold 1200W ATX 3.0. Tho i don't know which one is better they are pretty similarly priced here in my country, the prices are 189$ for the MSI and 199$ for the NZXT one. What do you guys think is the better option between these two? Or if you have any recommendations please do give some. Thanks in advance. Edit: My full pc specs is in my signature if it is needed.
  21. i checked the psu tierlist and i'm opting for the corsair rm850 gold or hx850 platinum tho the hx850 platinum is cheaper. The rm850 gold is around 150$ and the hx850 is 135$ should i just go hx850? tho i think the price difference is due to that the rm850 is the white edition.
  22. I'll check this out, i tried checking the psu tier list out but the information was a bit overload for me and i really couldn't grasp it.
  23. Hey guys just wanna ask for some good power supply recommendations. I am planning to upgrade my current power supply which is a Seasonic M12II 620W EVO in to something better maybe an 850W gold/platinum power supply. I'm looking for some recommendations on what's a good model/brand tho I've been eyeing the Seasonic focus+ 850PX any thoughts on this model? Also the full specs of my pc is in my signature if it is need for your thoughts. I'm also planning to upgrade my GPU in the near future to maybe a rtx 3080 or 4070 ti or any equivalent of this graphics card.
