I can normally get along with 16+ without them going too stupid.. but younger then that I have a curse. Maybe it's because I'm snarky, I dunno. I'm just sick of it.. like I said I just want to play competitive without the bullshit.

I bought the G933's a few days ago. The battery life is good and the mic sounds great.. those are the only good things I can say about them. I don't consider myself to have a big head and these are super uncomfortable.. they've been giving me headaches and I like to wear my headsets pretty much most of my day and I have a hard time using these over an hour or two. The ear cuffs are not soft, they're almost scratchy. I like the idea of G keys and other buttons on the headset but where they are places I find myself inevitably pressing or scrolling something whenever I pick up or adjust my headset.. it ruins the features for me. The microphone was a selling point for me because it sounds great and is retractable.. but not easily. It sometimes takes a two handed effort just to pull it out or push it back in. I'm not an audiophile by any means but I'm just simply not impressed with the sound AT ALL. I would almost prefer my $8 ear buds.. almost. They also leak WAY too much sound for my personal use since my battle station is right next to my boyfriends but that was probably my fault for not looking more into the sound pollution aspects of it, just mentioning not good for use around other people.

I bought these based on Hardware Canuck's review and maybe got myself too excited for them but that doesn't change the fact that I'm going to return them.. I prefer a quality headset over wireless I guess.. even if it is useful the few times you get up.

I just bought the G933's yesterday which is the wireless version and I am sorely disappointed in almost every aspect. Get the Cloud.

To start off with, they're generally uncomfortable. They're heavy and make my head sore while the ear cuffs are almost scratchy. The microphone was a selling point for me because it sounded better then the other headsets I was looking at and the fact that it was retractable was a big deal to me.. but it's stiff and takes a two handed effort to maneuver. The sound isn't that great, I almost prefer my $8 ear buds to be completely honest.. almost. Also, the fact that I can't even touch or pick up my headset without pressing a G button or move the volume rocker makes me hate those features. And you know what REALLY grinds my gears? If I'm not actively listening to something for 5 minutes, it goes to sleep. There isn't an option to disable this aggravating feature. The lighting effects are cool, but completely unnecessary, I guess I'd only use it if I were taking a picture of my setup. In conclusion, I'm currently looking for another headset before returning this one.

980Ti is 95%+ the performance of a TitanX.. it's same price to performance of the 980.. just a step up.. Also 6GB for productivity (3d, video work) is great.

Monitor of my dreams too at the moment. Great res for productivity, IPS for video and image editing and 144hz for the gaming.

    You can do it..

P.S, the dvd drive is dropped.. you'll need an external one with that case.. If it's just for the OS you can download an image and make a bootable USB key..

IMO not really a waste if OP doesn't want to OC. OC is just a feature, and he can always OC when he decides to. Besides, it's the cheapest Haswell-E out of the 3, not including Haswell-EP.

I would use one of these depending on your budget:
    https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gax99ud4
    https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-x99deluxe
They both have great reviews and have all necisery features. They are also both by good brands. High end motherboards are only important because they have features, so if you don't care about extra features on the asus board, go wit the gigabyte one.

FYI the rest of your build looks pretty good.

Get the 5820k over the 5930k. You won't use the lanes of the 5930k and the 5820k is just as strong on the same frequency. Use the saved money maybe foir dual 980 maybe?

I just went to http://ark.intel.com and compared both cpus.

The advantage of the Xeon is that it has 40 PCI-e lines and consumes less power, although the core clock is kinda low and has a high price
The advantage of the 5820k is the overclocking capability (you can improve performance with it), but has a higher TDP and less PCI-e lines, 28 to be exact. low price

Though decision, but i will go 5820k, (not sure about what others would say)

Make sure to watch @LinusTech new vid on overcloking the 5820K

PS: I know that you don't want to OC, but at least you should try it, it would be a great experience, i never done that cuz i own a laptop... Also if you're going build the PC, you will love it

I'm actually not sure to be honest.  Need to check some gaming benchmarks comparing 2x 980s to a 295X2.  Both should provide very similar performance.  The 295X2 is going to be about $300 less expensive, and come pre-water cooled, so keep that in mind.

Here is the first benchmark webpage I looked at.  Unfortunately it only shows 1440p...  But 2x 980s seems to be winning easily over a 295X2, but this is the wrong resolution to be testing, and AMD tends to scale much better at higher resolutions, so take these numbers with a massive grain of salt.
    http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_980_sli_review,17.html

Here are some actual Ultra 4k benchmarks, but it only compares a single 980 vs. R9 295X2.
    http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/nvidia_geforce_gtx_970_and_980_reference_review,23.html

Ok, here are some good Ultra 4k Benchmarks.  The only caveat is that they don't have an R9 295X2, but you could look at the R9 290X results and multiply that fps by 1.8 to get a rough idea of R9 295X2 performance.  From what I can tell looking at the first few games tested, SLI 980s and R9 295X2 is performing very similar going off the 1.8x 290X fps results.
    http://us.hardware.info/reviews/5623/3/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-sli--3-way-sli--4-way-sli-review-benchmarks-battlefield-4

Compare those to the actual R9 295X2 review, and the numbers are within 2-5fps, so the 1.8x of R9 290X results seems to work.
    http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/amd_radeon_r9_295x2_review,18.html

Lastly, if you are willing to be patient, you could wait for the rumored 980Ti which is supposed to be quite more potent than a 980.  Also, the new AMD 300 series is launching in Q1 or Q2, and AMD seems to always put on a good showing for higher resolutions.
