  1. @smogsy Do you have any dimensions or a floor plan? After seeing this project, id love to try and build one myself.
  2. I can only speak for the LG 34UC97-S 1) Will all the Display Ports being able to send the audio from my GTX 970 mini to the monitor speakers? Yup, the DP port will carry audio to the monitor. 2) I get some feedback that the LG 34UC97-S HDMI 2.0 only provide 50hz, can someone confirm me that? Nope, it does 60hz, not sure where you got 50 from... 7) Can someone give me some feedback about the speakers of the monitors I talk about? I find that the LG 34UC97-S is a awesome monitor, really love it. I mainly use it for work/productivity related activities as its not the best to game on but it doesn't perform bad when I have played the few odd games (BF4, H1Z1, Boarderlands). I Also have the LG 34UM95 at home and I find that the colour and the picture quality is much better on the LG 34UC97-S. I don't think that the LG 34UC97-S is vesa compatible with out buying an extra mount for the back.
  3. The flat panel is a brilliant display, don't get me wrong. If you get the 34UM95 you wont be disappointed. If you are on a budget you will be happy with the flat panel. But if you have the $900, i would get the curved.
  4. Does anyone know of a good website for 3440 x 1440 wallpapers?
  5. What stand are you using with that? It looks quite low profile.
  6. That would be more than enough. I run a single 970 and that works fine for me.
  7. I haven't seen the AOC ones but I can vouch for the LG 34UM95. I too play a lot of mmorpgs and RTS with the occasional FPS and I can say that you won't find an experience like it. Ultra wide is definitely the way to go, especially for productivity. You won't want to go back to standard monitors after you have used one.
  8. I have the LG 34uc97 at work and the LG 34um95 at home and i can definitely say that i prefer the curved one. The image looks a lot clearer and crisp compared to the flat panel. I would definitely recommend the curved display.
  9. Cheers I like the look of the monitor on top, it looks like it could come in handy. Just need to sort the cable management out first though
  10. This is my current setup. Sporting the 21:9 LG34UM95-P Still need to sort out the cable management.
  11. Doesn't work on this post, the tread has been closed i think.
