  1. Just purchased this card. Can't go wrong. Silent, Overclocks like a beast. Highest boost clock from factory. Do it, Do it!
  2. Just purchased this AVR for a smokin price!($1100) Just want to know if anyone has tried the analog inputs from their pc for audio. I am currently just using hdmi with the pcm stream. I have an asus crosshair V formula Z mobo fyi. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I agree, you only need to add a powered repeater after about a 50 ft length depending on the make and purpose of use.
  4. Get the Panasonic tcp-55s60. I paid $999 cad and it has low input lag and great contrast. I use it for my main PC gaming/T.V. watching panel.
  5. Flat Panel(Plasma/LCD) television pc gaming vs monitor gaming. Positives/Negatives.
  6. I would recommend the spf series from pioneer(http://www.soundandvision.com/content/pioneer-sp-bs41-lr-speaker-system). If you substitute the towers for bookshelves you might be able to come in under $500. This is one of the best 5.1 systems you can find for around $500. I would never recommend an all-in-one system unless it was from a REPUTABLE SPEAKER COMPANY i.e. Deftech/Cambridge Audio, etc.
  7. I told him to go with a single GPU but he's dead set on a dual card setup, Hope this changes his mind. Thanks for the input guys. I'll let him know what the experts have to say.
  8. My friend's new build for mild video editing/gaming. Thoughts?
  9. No kidding. I must have a life outside of the internet. I still see some of my movie trailers the old fashioned way.
  10. I would go with a Marantz AV8801&mm8077 with a Goldenear Technology Triton two set/ supercenter XL. Any of their surround speakers will suffice. Hope this advice doesn't come too late. Don't listen to the Aussie. Your questions are welcome in the Hometheater section of the forum.

  12. I just recently purchased the Panasonic tcp55 s60 and it is great for gaming. Low input lag and great contrast for $999 cad. Only downside is screen washout in very bright conditions. Playing ac4 for pc looks amazing on this panel.
  13. Check out the Oppo Digital BDP-105. I believe it has support for external NAS options.
