fortunately its the back of the case so its hidden for the most part.

small update on the 212X
these are the fan bracket, these will be painted white.
also ill be masking off the rest of the fins and painting only the top of heatsink, as this is the only visible part anyway.
index cards work really well for masking.
first ill mask off the part I want to paint white.
here we are after paint.
now to mask of the rest and paint it black.
and here is how she turned out.
I went with these black and white phanteks fans as that fit my build aesthetic better.

ok, finally got everything put together and assembled...cable combs are coming soon to help tame the pci and 24 pin cables.
looks pretty good so far.
I was able to salvage a couple mirrors from an old display from work to help show off the rgb on the gpu...
I decided to add another mirror because why not...
Now all that is left is the cable combs and this baby all done.

Nicely done. I don't think I have ever seen mirrors used. I like it.

Hell All!
It has been a long time since I did a pc build so I decided to jump into things with a bang so to speak. My last pc build was nothing crazy it was not even modded at all. it was based of the sandy bridge 2500k, I felt the itch to upgrade and thought I would share with you all.
For starters I decided to go with the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M full acrylic.
I wanted to do an "oreo" based build because see a lot of black and white builds, but not very many cases (that I've seen) that are black on the outside and white on the inside. Thus the name Oreolake.
After stripping the thing down to the bare bones I masked of the outside of the case as best I could to make sure it remained all black.
The paint I decided to go with was from Lowes, valspar paint primer combo in gloss white.
Iv'e used this paint for other projects and have always been happy with it.
after applying 4 coats I was pretty happy with the outcome however I lost light and decided to finish in the morning with clear coat.
Tomorrow, as long as it doesn't rain I will finish off the painting with clear coats and put everything back together.
Stay tuned for more!

jcbunch88 got a reaction from SirReallySam in Mechanical Keyboard Club!
Hey guys this is my first post, I've been a long time watcher of the youtube channel and i just got my first mechanical keyboard and I'm never going back to the mushy crap again. I got the CM quickfire ultimate with blue switches. I freaking love the clicky sound and feel.
no mods yet but I'm eyeballing some key caps from wasdkeyboard.
