  1. Hello, good day to you all. Today I decided to swap out my riser cable for a new GPU I'm installer (EVGA 2080ti FTW3). My previous vertical bracket doesn't support 3 slot cards, so I decided to use this EZDIY Vertical bracket mount. Upon loading into windows for no more than 30 minutes I got a BSOD with "video scheduler internal error". I tried rebooting the computer and everything was fine for another 10 minutes before screen started blacking out then back. Few minutes later, the computer started to reboot every 5 seconds on its own. I tried to install the GPU directly to the mother without the riser cable and everything worked fine, even ran GPU stress test for 2 hours without any issue. I am almost certain the riser cable is at fault here. Have anybody encounter such issues with riser cables? Can they cause BSOD or random black screen/reboots? Any solution would be much appreciated, if not I'll have to simply return this bracket with riser cable.
  2. Been having this issue too, where the gpu fan spins really fast and no post.
  3. Have you tried unplugging the power from monitor and waiting a couple minutes then plugging it back in? That helped me once.
  4. i took the motherboard out of the system. Can I clear the bios with the motherboard just on its on? Does it have to be in the system with the cpu and all?
  5. Hello y'all, hope you guys are having a great evening. Today I was trying to install a B450 Aorus Elite Motherboard that is Bios updated to support gen 3 Ryzen. When I installed a 3700x and all the corresponding headers/cables. The pc turned on but to no display signal. The GPU seems to be running its fan at 100%. I see a red led under DRAM, not quite so what to make of it. I am using corsair vengeance 3200mhz ram. I did check to see if all the pin connectors are connected and pushed down. Any insight would be much appreciated thanks!
  6. Today as I was setting up my graphics card with a vertical gpu mount by phantek, i noticed the white led above the pcie port doesn't light up anymore when its plugged in. Does this have to do with the gpu mount and its riser cable? Not sure if there is a problem with it. Thanks in advance
  7. I am thinking of oc gpu, would it be a good idea?
  8. the psu i have is the Corsair TXM 550 80+ gold
  9. Hello there, hope you are doing well. I have a few question regarding comparability and possible overclocking with a 550W power supply (Corsair TXM 550 80+ gold). I currently have a EVGA 1080ti SC installed with a i5 9400f, and 16gb on ram. I am wondering if the 550W psu is enough and if there is room to overclock my gpu. Any response is much appreciated.
  10. thank you to all who replied, gave me a peace of mind. Should I continue to monitor the components? I've been checking up on them for an hour now as it runs.
  11. Is it even possible for problems to occur after the fact?
  12. Hello, good day to you all. I come baring a really dumb question for something I did which I did not really paid attention to when it happened. So I turned my PC off without unplugging or switching the PSU switch to off. Then I proceeded to unplug the 24 pin connector out of the PSU (modular psu) and the motherboard because I wanted to reroute it through another opening. Although nothing happened, no sparks, and the PC turn on just fine after. I thought about it after its done and realize that there are still power in the motherboard if the psu isn't turned off. Could I have done long term damage to my system? Or perhaps something happened that I don't know? Just want a peace of mind knowing nothing will happen. Thanks to all who can replied
