  1. I bought a Zotac RTX 2070 Super Twin Fan that comes with a 6pin to 8pin pcie adapter. Is the adapter safe to use for the meantime since it comes together with the card? Im using a Seasonic Focus Plus 550w Gold. I lost my 8pin pcie cable but I alread ordered a replacement from Seasonic.
  2. Does anyone have any experience with FormulaMod replacement cables? I have a Seasonic Focus Plus 550w Gold and I lost my 8pin pcie cable since my grand parents threw the box away without me knowing. CableMod isn't really an option for me since I live in the Philippines.
  3. Hi guys, Will a Seasonic Focus Plus 550w Gold be enough for the ASUS RTX 2070 EVO? I've used outervision's calculator and it says I have more than enough for the card. The only thing that worries me is that ASUS themselves recommends an 850w psu for this card according to their website https://www.asus.com/ph/Graphics-Cards/DUAL-RTX2070-8G-EVO/specifications/ My full specs are: i5-4690k Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 5 Corsair h110i GT 16GB GSkill RipjawsX 500gb Samsung 860 Evo 1tb WD Black 500gb WD Blue Seasonic Focus Plus 550w Gold EDIT: I think I might have posted at the wrong section. I can repost this over at the PSU section if needed
  4. Yep, those are blank key caps Well, its just a personal preference but I find it neat
  5. Hey guys @Slick @LinusSebastian! Just wanted to share my latest mech keyboard Varmilo VA87MR Gateron Red Switches I got this from a Group Buy organized by some guy in a facebook group from my country. Since I got the freedom to choose my own theme(from case color & plate color to key cap color & legends), I decided to go for Linus' color scheme! Not just coz Im a fan of LTT, but coz black(which is actually dark grey) & orange just looks so bad ass! Hope you guys appreciate it!
  6. me wantz dis. gibe nao pls. My rig has a Zotac 970 btw
  7. I did update my Windows after the 1st instance of BSOD. But I still got one after I updated my GPU's drivers.
  8. I did try to mimic the situation where I got the BSOD at least twice but it didn't happen again. That's what got me wondering what could've been the cause of that BSOD. Hopefully, but I was just worried coz I've had 2 BSODs within 3 days which I never had before when I built this PC a year ago. Thanks!
  9. Sorry but I think I placed the wrong title. If you have time, my first post was a different situation. I did have an old driver when I was playing Witcher 3 but I still got a BSOD.
  10. A clean install wouldn't be ideal for my situation coz I don't have any backups. And re-downloading all my games is a pain in the ass coz of data capping in my country. So I would want to avoid doing that as much as possible. But thanks tho.
  11. Hi Guys, I know I'm posting this in the wrong sub forum but my experience in the Troubleshooting sub forum has rather been disappointing(sorry). So that's why I'm trying to get some help here instead. So if the mods feel like moving this, please do so. I've already posted two topics in the Troubleshooting sub forum for two instances of BSODs. I've never got a single reply on my first post and just one reply on the second one. 1st http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/513858-display-driver-crashed-then-followed-by-a-bsod/ Brief description: I was playing Witcher 3 then my display driver crashed so I decided to restart my pc. When I got into Windows, that's when the BSOD happened Report Files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d4w1cl3cage19rf/%28Report%20Files%29%20HTML.rar?dl=0 SysnativeFileCollection: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4jvz0mequqb2ohi/SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip?dl=0 2nd http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/516549-bsod-after-updating-to-latest-nvidia-drivers/ Brief description: I updated my GPUs driver using GeForce Experience, restarted my pc and got into Windows. All my program icons were on the right side of the monitor so I sorted them by Type, that's when I got the BSOD. Report Files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h73754vjf9xk726/%28Report%20Files%29%20HTML%201.rar?dl=0 SysnativeFileCollection: https://www.dropbox.com/s/08yx1m9iw3pwn8g/SysnativeFileCollectionApp%201.zip?dl=0 TL;DR: I had 2 instances of BSODs within 3 days and this is the first time I've encountered them. Just wanna get help diagnose the problem to be sure it's not that critical. Thanks!
  12. Hi guys! This has been my second experience of having a BSOD. First instance was different which I posted here http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/513858-display-driver-crashed-then-followed-by-a-bsod/ Unfortunately I didn't get any single response from my first post. So, I'm here again hoping that someone might be able to help me so here it goes. I just updated my GPU driver to the latest one available through GeForce Experience and did an express install. After the installation was done, I restarted my pc. When I got into Windows, all the icons from my programs were all on the right side of the monitor which was very unsual(it was on the left side before) so I decided to sort them by Type. After my icons got rearranged, that's when the BSOD happened. Here are the ZIP dump files: Report Files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h73754vjf9xk726/%28Report%20Files%29%20HTML%201.rar?dl=0 SysnativeFileCollection: https://www.dropbox.com/s/08yx1m9iw3pwn8g/SysnativeFileCollectionApp%201.zip?dl=0 Please help me. Getting 2 BSOD in just 3 days is starting to worry me. I've never experienced this before.
