  1. Thats also a possibility, but im looking for something that is small form factor, and these systems are already build and cheap, and the 64gb would be so i can run as many VM's as possible
  2. So I'm looking for a new workstation that I can take to school with me and I have been looking at the Lenovo ThinkCentre M725s SFF Desktop computer, the dell OptiPLex 7060, or the dell Precision 3430. The cpu in the lenovo is the AMD Quad-Core Ryzen 5-2400, the cpu in both of the dells is the Intel Six-Core i5-8500. I plan on upgrading the ram myself to have the max of 64GB, unless I am able to fit more in there. Which System has the better CPU for Virtualization/ Running of VM's. The reason I'm looking at these systems because they are small enough to travel with, I'd take my full tower desktop if I could.
  3. I have 2 gtx 970s running in sli one's core clock is 1329MHZ and the other one's core clock is at 1114. I do'nt know why they are different, they are the exact same cards. What could I overclock them too and what settings do I need to change to do so. Like power limit and memory clock for example
  4. I have an intel core i7-4790k cpu running @ 4.00GHz and I have the NZXT Kraken X61 cooling it, what kind of overclock can I get withouht making it heat up too much?
  5. I want this so I can play no mans sky on a giant 4k tv when it comes out. FEED THE DREAM! ok?
  6. I have no experience in photography and I do not know what features are good to have on a camera. What I am looking for is a camera that isn't bulky so I can easily fit it in a bag while I am on vacation. And take wide angle shots.
  7. I have a razer naga epic chroma and every time I unplug the micro usb from the wireless hub and plug it in directly into the mouse, a message pops up saying I need to restart my PC to apply changes. But NOTHING seems to have changed. The mouse is still showing up in razer synaps and the mouse works like it normally would so what is there to change? (the same message shows up whenever I unplug or plug in the micro usb into the hub or mouse) The message is just annoying. So main question to answer: What changes when I plug in and out the micro usb from the mouse and hub, and if nothing changes how can I get rid of that message that pops up.
  8. If i have a 60gb ssd in my system with a 2tb hard drive, will the ssd fill up first then start storing info to the harddrive? Would it be the other way around? Or would they both be used at the same time?
  9. I want to buy this refurbished pc... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883283253&cm_re=refurbished_desktop-_-83-283-253-_-Product and stick this graphics card in it : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1N83U90884&cm_re=evga_geforce_gt_610-_-14-130-815-_-Product I couldn't find info on the motherboard so I don't know if it has a slot for the graphics card, in the item picture it looks like there is one but I don't know what kind it is and if it will support the graphics card I want to use. Even if it dose support it I don't know if it will fit, everything in the case seems tight. So dose the motherboard support the GPU and will it fit in the case when everything is installed?
  10. There is this motherboard, BIOSTAR A68N-2100 AMD E1-2100 Dual-Core APU Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU/VGA Combo ,,, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G3RH4642 I am trying to put together a VERY VERY cheap pc for my friend to do some minor homework on. I was wondering if windows 10 or linux would run using this motherboard and apu combo. I also want to get this graphics card as an upgrade.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1N83U90884&cm_re=evga_geforce_gt_610-_-14-130-815-_-Product This graphics card has 1 GB video ram. is that enough? So, Q, #1: Can I use windows 10 or linux on this mother board if i wanted to? Will it work? Q, #2: Is the graphics card going to work without any problems if i just plug it in? and dose the gpu has enough vram? Q, #3: What wattage should the power supply unit be? I heard that 300 was good for something like this.
  11. I recently got these headphones for Christmas. The AKG K553 Pro: http://www.akg.com/pro/p/k553pro In my PC I have a sound card called Sound Blaster Z from Creative: http://www.soundblaster.com/products/sound-blaster-z.aspx The sound card is said to have a 600 Ohm dedicated headphone amp built in, but in the software and manual I cant find anything to see if it is on or working. SOOO, Dose the sound card with the built in amp work or is it too weak to power the AKG's and if so what amp should I think about getting. I know very little about audio. Also it would be nice if the amp was under 120$. Thank You ^̮^ Specs of K553pro Manufactured by AKG Over-ear, closed-back construction Leatherette earpads with slow foam retention Individually tested and numbered Fixed 9.8 ft (3 m) straight cable with 1/8 in (3.5 mm) jack Frequency response: 12 to 28,000 Hz Sensitivity: 114 dB/V Maximum input power: 200 mW Rated impedance: 32 Ohms 10.75 oz (w/o cable)
  12. I do. My internet is bad so I cant stream. I just want a simple system.
  13. Basically a mini itx build that can decently run games and has on board wifi. My budget is 400$ and i want to use windows 10 so if you can include that in the price then that would be great. Thank you!
