1. Interestingly I tried something on accident. I am running at 1000/1400 undervolted to 1.125V from 1.25V. I just got a 9200 3DMark 11 score for graphics. Now I have force constant voltage set and I think this is probably the highest I should push it. I was running 1100/1500 @ 1.3V (Cap) but it was running 80*C mining for bitcoins. I am down to 58*C mining now, and game temps in the mid 40's. I didn't realize that overvolting/increasing max draw would change temp THAT much given the vapor-x having the BEST stock air cooling out there of all the video cards.
2. What would you do? Please keep the rude comments away. I would go out to lunch/dinner and just listen to him talk ALL DAY.
3. These ones include everything but the 24 pin and is compatible for every modular corsair PSU it seems: http://www.corsair.com/us/power-supply-units/psu-accessories-1/professional-individually-sleeved-dc-cable-kit-type-3-generation-2-blue.html
4. I have done business with cyberpower, ibuypower, dell, sager, xoticpc, and a few others and have yet to see this. No saying it's a bad idea just havent seen it. But I can see how longer graphics cards can do this. Again over 300 PC's sold and this is the first PC that had a graphics card longer than 9 inches and more weight to boot!
5. The bottom half starts are the current generation products. I for one am happy that I can be lazy and still get the sleeved cables :) http://www.corsair.com/us/power-supply-units/psu-accessories-1.html?utm_source=Corsair&utm_medium=FacebookTwitter&utm_content=CablePost&utm_campaign=SocialMedia
6. So the forum mod informed me that this thread can stay, but I will be unable to link people to giveaway for now. However we can continue to talk and mebbe give me some advice on the giveaway/youtube channel. I believe I will be able to make a post when the giveaway starts, however I will be unable to provide a link to it.
7. Now that I have time to post here is my goal. My true passion is helping people, not so much building the PC. Granted, I am very good as proper assembly and wire management, but I enjoy helping others. Specifically my interests focus on the budget scene. I don't want to just be a Linus copy, I want to help those specifically looking for advice on budget builds. It's something that I focus alot of my research on and to prove a point, I've spent over 1500 hours in 2012 researching PC hardware, and focused on budget areas. I want to do what I love for a living. I am not trying to make a quick buck, but I would like for this to be my life.
8. I am not doing this giveaway to make money though, would be nice!!! I could have sworn that it was about 2 dollars per thousand views? Or else how do people like Linus make money from youtube? I know if get additional money for people that click ads, but that is very little.
9. Thanks everyone for the replies!!! My question is, I setup youtube to pay me, well I became a partner. How do I set up payment to me and how much per view???
10. I'll be whoring facebook as much as I can!!!! I just want to do what I love to do, help people with budgets build amazing PC's, and hopefully support me and my dad while doing it!!! Sources of income will include: Minor mark up on sold units, sponsors and videos. Granted sold units will be my main source of revenue for the time being.
11. Ultimately, I will be doing what slick/linus do in unboxing and performance testing, but targeting budget consumers. Stretching your penny, but I also want to engage my people and do a few give aways as well!!! EDIT: As well as a few eBay transactions to regain costs on unboxing parts until I get sponsors.
12. I am okay with the cost. Cibergatox, that might be a good idea as well, I'll definitely think about it. My understanding is, if you generate over 1,000 views, you get about $2 per 1,000 views. An idea I had, which would be kool, is if I generated soo many viewer per video, that I could literally just give away free stuff and make money LOL. 2-3 mil views per video would be 4-6k per video, which would be enough to live off of if I do a few give aways a month, totally say 1,000-1,500 per.
13. When people say I have X gigs of memory, it's gigabyte not gigs...
