One key thing I forgot it had to be an ATX cube style case, I didn't really want to replace my motherboard or anything else :P

I wanted to have my PC on my desk without it taking a lot of room. I also wanted USB ports on the front as well as the optical drives. The External bays aren't a bad feature too. So I ordered it. I've googled and youtubed some HAF XB builds and they look pretty nice. Wondering if anyone on here has any they'd like to share.

I would love a split screen option.

Thanks. The motherboard I was using that broke was Z77. I do intend on overclocking it, I just want a cheap motherboard to test if the CPU actually still works. Thanks for the replies everyone.

A few days ago I removed the IHS off of my i7 and it went fine until I ended up dropping the cpu on the motherboard, right on the CPU socket and bent a few pins, so I didn't even get to try out the i7. I'm just wondering, what's the cheapest motherboard available that's compatible with the i7 3770k. I don't care about anything else other than CPU, Sata and DDR3. Just need to use it purely to see if the i7 works or not. English based website would be a bonus.

840 pro master race here. Haven't had a single problem with my 120gb 840 pro. Works like a charm.
