  1. just noticed another weird behaviour, when i start a game i get reasonable fps which drop after a few seconds
  2. I did some benchmarks just for a sanity check and it seem the hardware runs well within expectations, I'm honestly completely out of ideas... checked the powersettings as well tried different ones and even tinkered a bit with them myself Overclocking doesn't change anything as well. Did a fresh install of chipset drivers too.
  3. i also did a full cleanup of the GPU drivers and installed the lates ones
  4. I've checked the D.o.c.p and tried to disable g-sync as well as VSync. Framelimiters are off atleast for the games i usually play i even have th RAM overclocked slightly to 3733MHz FPS are still the same. as for the pc of my friend, i don't fully remember although i know that he has an current gen i7 the same RAM and an RTX 3080, also it's not really about his pc just that the comparison raised some concernces about my machine since i'm not getting the performance i should be getting (i think)
  5. Hi, first and foremost my setup PC: CPU AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16 Core RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18 GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3080 ti Mobo: ASUS® TUF X570-PLUS M.2: 1 TB-SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLU Screen: Samsung Odyssey G9 (C49G93TSSU) Cooling: Corsair H115i RGB PRO XT Hydro-Serie PSU: CORSAIR 1000W I know that the PSU is probably overkill and it's not the moste sensible config ever but i took what i could get my hands on the thing is, my GPU usage is really low when playing games as well as my FPS. In valorant for example i only get around 250 fps somewhat stable and in League only around 180 FPS (2560x1440 and high settings) now this doesn't sound too bad at first but a buddy of mine has a similarly specced pc mby a bit weaker and gets over 400 fps in both games in 4K resolution and all settings on high which caused me to be concerned about my pc and it's performance just did a quick test while writing this, turns out even on the lowes settings possible i only get like 180ish fps in League could it be the displayport cable i'm using possibly?
  6. Hi there. I currently have a problem with my framerates. After i start up my PC everything runs fine, but after i started a couple of videos and games whenever i try to start WoW it starts to give me about 2fps (estimate XD). for my rig i have: CPU: Intel core i7 4790K slight overclock GPU: 2 Nvidia gtx 970 (1 Gainward Phantom, 1 windforce) Mainboard: Asus Sabertooth mark RAM: 16GB HyperX Beast PSU: Seasonic 650 80gold plus everything was fine until a few weeks ago, then i reinstalled the drivers but no i'm having the same problem again, is it a driver issue because i think my notebook had the same problem.

  8. this is a comment :3 Who would not want this CPU?^^
  9. I am really thankful for your recommendations, and I don't want to sound rude, but my orignal question is if a 550W psu would be enough for this setup ^^
  10. Hi there! I watched the vid of Linus in which he talks about what kind of PSU one should buy. Now I have already used the recomendet calculator, but I am not quiet sure if it gave me a somewhat correct answer (it said about 350Watts). Since I am planning on buying a gaming pc for quiet some money I want to make sure that I get a fitting PSU so I wanted to ask for a second opinion. The system I am planing to buy includes: 1x LG dvd RW drive the included fans in the Coolermaster HAF-X RC942 a intel i7-4790K CPU Asus Sabertooth z97 Mark 1 Corsair Dominator 16GB(2x8GB) DDR3 2400Mhz Gainward GTX 970 Phantom Noctuar NH-D15 1x 1.5 TB HDD and 1x 128GB SSD I originally was going to buy a 850W Corsair RM 80plus Gold PSU, but then i watched the video and thought that 550W were enough (considering the calculation). Also if anyone as any ideas of improoving the system without increasing it's price by a lot, recommendations are welcome :3
