C'mon,  for 4k the card is just as worthy/worthless today as it was when you bought it on the back of all the benchmarks that were out there.  I can't believe people actually think the card performs worse now than it did before they discovered all this.
 
Yes, Nvidia misrepresented their product,  Don't buy from them again if you wish, take your card back if you wish, but don't try to insinuate the card can't do what it already can and go on as if AMD have never misrepresented any of their products.

Loved the video, Brandon did really wel, I think he can definitely host more videos in the future. Would love to see more videos about cameras and their technology here or even a whole channel about camera technology. I think he still needs to work at the speed at which he talks but it will come with time. Again nice video.

The story is pretty straight forward. Gaming is my passion. I bought an Xbox One after having a 360 since it came out, and while I love the XB1 as an all-around media/gaming device, I was disappointed with "next gen" graphics that it produces. I decided that rather get a PS4 for a marginal graphical improvement that I would tackle my fear of PC building. With the help of Linus' different YouTube channels and some good friends, I learned everything I needed to about building a PC in a quick time. My budget started MUCH smaller, approximately $400, which I had a friend pick out parts and assemble for, and he did a great job. However, a few weeks later I realized that I should have spent the money to get better components the first time. Slowly but surely every single part (except for the hard drive) got upgraded in the span of a month. I went from a Cooler Master n200 case with a pentium CPU, Corsair bronze 500 PSU, and GTX 560ti to what I have now. Had to sell some things I had around the house on eBay, and my Xbox 360, but at the end of the day, I spent about $500 out of pocket for this rig.
 
Now, before you say it, I know I could have gone i5 with a GTX 780, but I do also edit multiple podcasts and do photoshop/web design on the side, so I wanted a little more CPU power. Also, I know I could have gone the AMD route, but I have an Nvidia Shield which I LOVE, and being able to play my PC games in bed next to my wife via gamestream has completely sold me as an Nvidia customer for life.
 
I'm really proud of the build, and Linus Tech Tips has become a daily stop for me to enjoy videos, tutorials, other's builds and the community, and I just wanted to share.
 
Moral of the story: PC gaming really is the best and half the fun is picking out parts and building it all!

Unless your going with an APU and no GPU there will be no difference in almost all situations.

We gave the world Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Coca Cola, Pepsi, MTN Dew, Taco Bell, In and Out, The Model T, Ninja Turtles, Rock legends, NASA, Grado headphones, Badass military tech, we didn't give the world Bieber and so much more.

Also to those of you saying people who disagree with his views are close minded, as a person who supports equal rights I have no obligation to condone the beliefs of those who try to keep others from enjoying the same rights they do. Equality does not mean tolerance of intolerance, it never has and it never will.

So it's like prison...but the prisoners can do whatever they want. Why can't more games be like this? It really is a great system. If you want to cheat, then cheat, but you'll be playing with other cheaters. Hopefully more devs will start utilizing this in their games.

Do you have a large amount of friends on the pc? If not, I'll game with you. I feel that a solid friend base makes gaming a lot more entertaining and enjoyable.

Well, "things" don't always make you happy. You gotta do stuff that does make you happy . That's why millionaires "living it up" aren't always happy either.

I'd actually be down for this. I can read specs and there are plenty of other unboxings that provide similar enough content to work as a substitute for the absence of your own if it allows for a greater amount of more unique content and a better more defined niche. 
 
 
I would probably go for a large decrease in unboxing rather than abandon it all together, that way the more new and interesting products can still be displayed rather than anything everyone requests including your cat. 
 
i.e. things like the Shadow rock, pebble, O2 can be unboxed and things like cases, graphics cards, keyboards, hard drives etc. can be ignored. 

Well... I wouldn't really like if you completely abandoned unboxinigs, but you could do less of them. I had always liked when you mixed the reviews and the unboxings into one video (when you talk the first time and slick the second part).  

I think it's great. Unboxings are often boring, you end up spending a lot of time trying to figure out ways to make it more exciting. Integrating them into the reviews or not doing them at all is completely fine. I'd certainly rather have more quality videos than spend my days watching 3 minute unboxing videos of random stuff. LTT has evolved a lot since the days it was basically JUST unboxings, and should now evolve further and be JUST about great content.
