  1. i dont think there will be a point in getting an i7 if you are not doing any heavy video editing? normally if your rig is just for gaming purposes, just get an i5, way cheaper and is more than enough to game. only some game would need the i7's extra juice, otherwise it will just be a waste to get an i7 for gaming.
  2. will let you know once i found out. sorry. and thanks
  3. isnt those normal drive too bulky to fit in a mac? i think it's a macbook pro. perhaps they use the pcie storage thing?
  4. what kind of hard drive should i get? is it the same as desktop HDD? any recommendation? i would replace it myself if it was mine. problem is it's my friend's mac that has the problem over at UK, while im at some asia country (malaysia)
  5. Want to ask, how much does it cost to replace a hard disk for a mac? hard disk is a normal HDD with 500gb storage and 5400rpm sorry if off topic.
  6. get a better psu. as linus say before. psu is one of the two things that can be future proof. one good modular psu can last you lots of years.
  7. how do you tell if a monitor is 1440p?
  8. what suggestion do you have for a 1440p monitor?
  9. so, is it better to just get a 1080p monitor instead?
  10. well, just keep in mind that 60hz monitor will cap your fps at 60. meaning if you have 100+ over fps, your display will only show 60fps maximum.
  11. then no. it's not necessary to choose a better cpu than the 6400. if you have more budget, its better for you to swap out your graphic card for a better one.
