I also went with the 2k Monitor version as the budget allowed it and added 2 SSD's, he already has a HDD. Swapped the CPU as well as I saw a deal for that one! Would this be a good setup? Or rather would this all work together? It appears so but just wanted to be sure^^ THANK YOU again for your help!! Kind regards, CawCaw
  2. Hey there! Hope you guys are doing well on a Sunday! I am planning on building a new PC for a family member(my gramps who is still actively editing photos) who had an old PC(prob 10 years old) and now as the thing has died wants to get a new one. It will be mainly used for Photo editing and no gaming at all. Budget (including currency): 1.000 € - 1.500 € This is the budget he gave that he is willing to spend. Country: Luxembourg (Amazon.de is where i prefer to buy the parts from if possible) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Photoshop, Video editing, etc. No real gaming. Nothing professional he does it as a hobby! Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I want to include a monitor if possible that is good for photo editing i dont have much experience there myself so I hope you guys can help! I thank you in advance for your help! Kind regards, CawCaw
  3. Budget (including currency): 2000 € Country: Luxembourg (German Amazon) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly for games, occasional work to be done Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WmYsz7 Hey there! I got a friend of mine which wants a gaming PC and the budget is around 2000€ max. As the GPU market still seems fucked up price wise that was the main problem^^ I choose the following items on PCPartPicker as they should be on amazon cause this is where he is planning to order the parts from. Is there anything you would change? Or a problem you might consider that I havent realized? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WmYsz7 Thanks in advance for the answers! Best regards!
  4. OP here, no clue if the guy favors accustics tbh ^^

  6. Hello! Preferably no slow loading times, the budget can be used even if less money can get sth that does the job Budget (including currency): 500 € - 700 € Country: Luxembourg (Europe, next to Germany) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Youtube Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Enough SSD space to not worry about it for keeping lots of pictures, Videos etc.
  7. Yeah making backups more frequently is probably the way to go. I have tried nearly every method I found on forums and google so I fucked myself up^^ Thanks for the responses though!

  10. Hey everyone! So what happened to me yesterday is that my USB stick with all my work stuff on it was inside my PC while there was an electricity shutdown. Now it recognizes it as follows: I tried quite a few things, looked up in forums etc. Things I tried: Reinstalling drivers, unplugging everything, tried on another PC without success, doublechecked if the usbstor.inf was on my PC It seems to always usse usb.inf instead of usbstor.inf everytime I let it update drivers manually. Doess anybody know any other solution? I havve some stuff on there that I need and I didnt upload anything to my Onedrive for a bit of time sadly....
  11. Hi everyone! Hope you all doing fine and you arent getting bored in any way! I am not really much an expert in audio so I wanted to know what would be better for my HD660S Sennheiser Headset? I have a Asus Xonar SE soundcard as well as a Sennheiser GSX 1200 Pro. My question would be what should i connect the Headset to? I play lots of games but also listen to a lot of music. Here are the products in question: Asus Xonar SE soundcard: https://amzn.to/2xjnf2X Sennheiser GSX 1200 Pro : https://amzn.to/3bcTvDq I thank you in advance for your help! Stay healthy!
  12. Budget is around 700 €. So I assume that most not too expensive monitors should be within that range?
