Make sure your Modem (the box that the coax cable plugs into) is a modern one that is docsis 3.1 or 3.0 so it'll support the speeds, then make sure your Router (the device that internet plugs into is also a up to date one. If you have a Combo unit aka Modem and Router are built into one. Make sure that supports the speeds. You can also call your ISP and have them send a technician out and DO NOT LET THEM CHARGE YOU because you are paying for a speed that they are unable to provide. SO they should wave the technician cost. They should be able to tell if your equipment is fine or its their fault. You can also try resting your equipment in case it's the settings on the devices. Hello, I have an external NVME M.2 SSD that will not work on my desktop built in USB 3.2 Gen 2 headers. Issues and details listed below. Hardware AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8 MSI B550-A PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard NVME M.2 SSD External Tested items NVME M.2 SSD Samsung tested in desktop read write 3000 MB/s External M.2 NVME Enclosure Tested with other computer verified working. USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 Cable tested Verified working USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 Cable tested verified working MIS Motherboard port tested with NON 3.2 gen 2 device verified working (not broken port) MSI Motherboard internal M.2 slots both tested working at full bandwidth Software Items Windows 10 Fully updated AMD Motherboard drivers installed (Manufacturer website) MSI Motherboard Bios Updated (Manufacturer website) I am certain it is not a hardware issue. I'll TRY to keep it simple. I have a great desktop setup, so I don't "need" a laptop but I would still like one. The question is. 1. Should I even get a laptop right now, (I may be traveling but it's not too big of a deal) 2. If I do get one, WTF laptop do I even get!?!?!? 3. Used or New? (I'm a semi broke college student) Laptop features 1. RGB..... 3. Raw performance regardless of size but still low price? 4. Will last a long time, Good build quality, and will not slowly fall apart and have snapped plastic, Full metal body design. I would greatly appreciate help choosing between eluktronics, Lenovo, Asus, etc.

trackpad Hybrid Mac Trackpad

So the idea is, I have a MacPro 13 2014 and its trackpad has gone mushy. BUT can I put in the new Force Touch trackpad from the 2015 model into the 2014 mac or will it not be compatible. Please tell me if this is practical or not really possible my normal means. (no Linus geto hacksawing here)

So I am having some serious problems with my Adobe Premier Pro CS6. Here is what I am trying to do. I edit my timeline in Premier Pro CS6, I export the XML File to be imported into Davinci Resolv for colorgrading, Then I reexport using the Premier Pro preset, I try to import the XML and NOPE. List of Issues Imported Timeline from Premier Pro to Davinci Resolv clips are not synced properly (cuts are wrong) Exported XML From Davinci Resolv is not recognised by Premier Pro Please help

So This seems to be a ongoing problem that hasn't been solved. Davinci resolve 12 quicktime decoder initialization failed. Davinci resolve 12 quicktime encoder initialization failed. I get both error messages. I have reinstalled Davinci Resolve 12 in both my main c drive and extra drive. I have installed Quick time on the same and different drive. I Uninstalled everything that had to do with apple and reinstalled it. Nothing works. I looked at the forms list on Black Magic and nothing. So Can the LTT Forms list save me. Make it work. Also if it helps i also installed HitFilm 3 Express and it gives the error message that QuickTime is not installed when it is. So It could also be a problem not with just Davinci Resolve but also Quicktime. Thanks -
So I want to make my own Diy Render Farm using multiple cheep computers running in Paralel. My problem is the following 1. What programs do I use for achieveing this? 2. What operating system do I put on the Multiple computers Running In Paralel. 3. How do I run the computers in paralel, how do I set it up. 4. How do I make it as symple as sending my render project over the network to my render farm. For exampel I have my main desktop and I want to send a project to the render farm where it rendrs it then sends the final render back to my pc. 5. What hardwhare peramiters are there, is there a certin type of cpu or whatever or all just all the same computers. For example The computers runing in paralel, Do they all need to have the same haredware and stuff or can they be mixed and mashed? 6. Is there anything else I can do with this render farm? 7. What else am I not thinking about, or what am i missing. Thansk for reading this and I realy hope I get some help doing this.

I have an audio-technica ATR6550 and when I use it with my pc it is too quiet and the quality is realy bad. If I use audio boost I get way too much static noise and it is still too quiet. I heard that high quality mics need external interfaces to make them work properly but I don't know anything about them. I was hoping you could help pick one out for me or give me some more insight in what an external interface is. I can't afford $200 ones but I would like to know what I am sacrificing by paying less.
