  2. The 390(x) is definitely more powerful but the 970 will be cooler and quieter as long as you can deal with only having 3.5gb useable gddr5.
  3. I'd say the r9 290x or maybe the 290 but idk if the power supply will handle it

  6. If so go into afterburner and set a custom fan profile
  7. Does it support the zero fan rpm thingie? My 285 does and idle is at about 63-65c.

  10. Looking for a Windows tablet and I've come across the tw802 For 120 which seems to be a pretty good deal and has better specs than most of the tabs in this range. Does anyone have any experience with it?
  11. Or buy a used gpu from a reputable manufacturer with good warranty:) did this and got an Asus strix r9 285 for $160. It did die on me but that was expected from where I got it from but Asus sent a replacement
  12. this one pretty good but maybe swap out the n200 for the nzxt source 210 or 210 elite or 220 (depending on price) and always look out for a deal on the 270x x)

  14. A8s don't cost much. You can get an hp laptop with an a8-6410 4gb ram 500gb hdd for 250ish on amazon.
  15. 960 for that build seems about right.
  16. If for some reason you don't have the drivers, highest windows lets you go is 1920x1080. But otherwise do the control panel thing.
  17. All of them are pretty consistent except hitman absolution... But that still makes 0 sense...
  18. Maybe try the corsair m95? Or maybe the razer naga?(if you like hair trigger mice)
  19. Well, first off with an old PC that we were getting rid of. I also found the thermal paste but I removed it with my fingers. Somehow never had a heat problem though. Then before i knew how hot CPUs get i figured "hey, why don't i put my finger on it and then start it up?" Later on my parents PC i was troubleshooting ram and i, like an idiot, attempted to put a stick in while the PC was on. And the ram was backwards so i ended up shorting the mobo but somehow the ram still works fine x) life of luck over here x)
