  1. If iIcan find a good deal then I might do so but if not yeah just wait it out.
  2. Thanks maybe if I can find a good deal I might pick thoughts up
  3. Well, I tend to play a lot of different games, from the low to the high end. Just yesterday I picked up high on life and noticed it was struggling to run it from time to time, and that got me thinking maybe it's time for an upgrade to the old GPU because more video RAM would be nice. But then I became concerned that my CPU would be bottlenecking my new GPU, causing me to lose performance. I game at 1080p currently and was planning a new PC build some time down the line in the next few years since I can't use Windows 11 on this machine. That being said, is it worth dropping 200–300 bucks on a new GPU?
  4. So I have an i7-4790k with a GTX 980, and I was looking at potential GPU upgrades that wouldn't bottleneck my CPU. I was told to get either a 1080 or possibly an RTX 3050. I was wondering what the better option would be. If these claims are true, I came here for more information. Thanks much; it is much appreciated. And if this is the wrong forum for this, I'm sorry.
  5. whats the resolution you run at? just curious some reviews for this cable say they don't support 144p?
  6. Yeah this does not look like the best quality http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters%C2%AE-Gold-Plated-DisplayPort/dp/B005H3Q59U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1439614665&sr=8-1&keywords=displayport+cables
  7. Well the ones I see on amazon don't seem like good cables. Then I looked on display port.com and found certified display port cables. http://www.displayport.org/products-database/
  8. So I got a new 4k monitor and I want to know the best band of display port cable to buy.
