  1. Hey guys, So just completed my first full custom water loop, system works great! I'm getting amazing frames per second and my temps seemed relatively normal. My set-up is; i7 4790k @4.4ghz Asus Maximus VII ranger 8GB corsair vengeance pro Ram Asus GTX980 (reference PCB) XSPC CPU and GPU blocks XSPC Photon 270mm D5 Combo pump/res 1 x 360mm radiator 1 x 240mm radiator I have been using HWmonitor to measure temps, both before water-cooled loop was installed and now that the loop is in, I didn't think anything of the temps I was getting. Idle temps have been around 35-40c for CPU and GPU (ambient temps where I live are 32-38c). during load the hottest CPU core peaks at 65c.. However HWmonitor reports GPU temps of up to 83c. I thought that was a bit high, so I tried MSI afterburner, it reports a maximum temps of 65c CPU and 67c for the GPU (much closer to what I was expecting). Is HWmonitor wrong? or is MSI afterburner wrong? what other software is there to test system temps? Thanks in advance for the help.
  2. I'd be happy with any of it to be honest. However the case is quite nice, but you can never have to much power.
  3. hey guys cheers for the comments. I've been building PC's for a while, but I've never built custom water cooled loops. Also figured it was a cheaper alternative. however if anyone can shed light on how and where to start a full custom water cooling loop I'm all ears. Faceman - thanks for your input, I had considered the exhaust venting into the case, didn't realise it could add as much as 11C to the internal temp that is disappointing to know. however am now reading your link Cheers again guys.
  4. hi guys, After watching Linus review of the NZXT Kraken G10, I've decided to include it in my new build. My question is actually about the radiators that I'll use with the all in one cooling loops. I'll be using this case from NZXT. The idea is to have the x61 Kraken (for the CPU) mounted at the top of the case with 2x 140mm fans. Then 2x x31 Krakens mounted in the front behind the 120mm fans. These two x31 Krakens will be for my 2 G10 brackets (SLI config) Any one who has experience or knowledge of the H440 I would love to hear from you. Thanks in advance.
