  1. Real Productivity and content creation monitors require parts that can make the best and accurate colors as possible - the same parts that may cause higher input lag and response time lag due to more internal processing for accurate colors, 10bit+ and billions of colors, etc. High refresh rate monitors use parts that are more optimized for gaming. But the price gap is now closing that high refresh rate monitors are getting lower now.
  2. From my understanding - any upcoming 2560x1440 144Hz monitor that does not have G-sync, will automatically have Adaptive-Sync built in (to use with AMD Freesync) by default from the look of current retail pricing - the pricing may be the same with/without Adaptive-Sync.

Sometime pixels anomalies appear and disappear over time... check with your monitor brand's pixel policies - 1)They may have different pixel policies for different models 2) some don't consider dark pixel anomalies as a display defect (some only consider bright pixels) or unless it exceeds a particular amount.
  4. It is not a bug. It may be a communication problem - VGA is analog signals and DisplayPort use digital signals... somewhere the adapter is confusing with the monitor's EDID on what signal is transmitting. In your setup it may always go 600 x 400 (BIOs resolution) first until the Graphics Card drivers load when your PC's OS loads. Instead of unplugging cable - while your PC is fully booted on Destop, try turning the monitor off for a few seconds then turning it back on. Which end is connected to the monitor (DP or VGA) and what is your monitor's full native resolution?

  7. One of your senior forum members brought my attention to this thread from twitter - I was perfectly happy lurking and reading for the past few years. I just came out of the wood works to help clarify some confusion. It is well known in another forum that I actively contribute and help other members (even though their issues are with another brand) and even play PC games with them. I am a gamer and PC consumer just like everyone else in this forum and I own both Nvidia and AMD cards. It is a very exciting time for the PC Monitor industry and I am very greatful that AMD and Nvidia are both resolving an issue that I have experienced since owning Voodoo GPUs back in the late 90s when I was playing Counter-Strike.

  10. Yes, we do have a toolkit in our USA corporate office that we use to update and fix some of our existing Nixeus Vue monitors firmware that uses a VGA interface. However the NX-VUE27D only has a DisplayPort input. In regards to the demo - I think Robert explained that in an earlier post.

  12. It is a bit more complicated than that. There is no consumer end method to install the scalar firmware to enable Adaptive Sync/Freesync - it requires using a firmware tool kit only available on the manufacturing side. EDIT: VRR was working on the monitor long before the Computex Demo...
